Egypt’s signature running event, the Marakez Pyramids Half Marathon, was held at the magnificent Great Pyramids of Giza. On December 23rd, over 5100 runners from 77 nations participated in the spectacular event that manifested our motto FOREVER.FASTER. perfectly. The Marakez Pyramids Half Marathon beckoned runners from across the globe to “Race Through History” around the breathtaking Great Pyramids of Giza. Offering three classic distances – 5K (Fun Run), 10K, and 21K – participants passed over 5000 years of history on a course featuring rolling hills and inclinations, adding an extra layer of challenge for the 10K and half marathon enthusiasts. The Giza Plateau, home to the Great Pyramids, showcased the glory of ancient Egyptian civilization, making this signature running event a unique and unforgettable experience.

Where history and speed intersect, our FOREVER.FASTER. activities can’t be far. That’s why our PUMA Egypt team provided the Fueled by Nitro Branded double deck booth which served as a hub for runners to test the latest Nitro shoes, win vouchers, or relax on cozy bean bags. To ignite the competitive spirit, participants could engage in PlayStation games or Jumping Ropes competitions. For the little ones, face glitter and hair braiding kept them entertained, while a photo tower awaited all finishers to capture their winning smiles.
