Turkey smashes World Champions

Volleyball world number one and PUMA Team Turkey has secured the title at the European Women’s Volleyball Championship 👑!

In a duel against the reigning world champions from Serbia, the Turkish women’s national team crowned themselves as queens of Europe with a 3:2 win (25:27, 25:21, 22:25, 25:22, 15:13) in a thrilling final in Brussels on Sunday evening.

While the whole team gave an amazing performance, it was Melissa Teresa Vargas who excelled for the new European champions scoring 41 points.

The Turkish team won the title at the 33rd European Women’s Championship, which was held in Belgium, Estonia, Italy and Germany from 15^th of August to 3^rd of September.
