PUMA EMPLOYEES DRIVE TO UKRAINE TO HELP PEOPLE IN THE COUNTRY BY DELIVERING GOODS

July 13, 2022

The situation in Ukraine is still very difficult and many people in the country need all the help they can get. Therefore volunteers from PUMA continue their trips to the country. This week, three PUMA employees accompanied an aid convoy to western Ukraine, helped with the unloading of supplies (including, for example, two tons of work clothes) and took six Ukrainians back to Germany. Learn more about the courageous trip!

PUMA´s solidarity with our Ukrainian PUMA family and with the people of the country continues. This week, PUMA employees Lisa Neumann, Lukas Ronneberger and Jens Hessel traveled with an aid convoy to Lviv in the west of Ukraine. They helped with the unloading of two tons of work clothes and other goods. After unloading the delivery, our PUMA colleagues used the space in the van and took six Ukrainians with their luggage across the border to the German capital Berlin. This was the third trip of its kind with PUMA volunteers.

“It is very encouraging and touching to see that the solidarity with Ukraine in our PUMA family continues and is unbroken. Having kept our PUMA employees in the region safe as best as we can and having set up safe houses outside of the Ukraine, it makes me very happy and proud to see this ongoing humanitarian help.”

Dietmar Knoess, Global Director People & Organization
