PUMA’s Nitro strikes again! The technology behind our performance basketball sneakers has been applauded in an article from Forbes.  The review highlights Nitro technology as a definer of basketball at PUMA  – with the technology tying PUMA basketball to running and training. Our basketball shoes are ones you don’t want to miss out on!⚡️

According to Forbes, “PUMA developers have dissected the sweet spot that allows them to “nail the placement”, in order to decrease volume to shed weight.”

The review notes our range of signature shoes, placing emphasis on our ability to adapt Nitro for each model. From having Nitro throughout the midsole of our 2022-23 season Rise Nitro shoes, to Nitro in the heel of our MB.01 shoes and heel and forefoot of our MB.02s, our Nitro foam has been adapted to every need. 

Our fusion of pinnacle Nitro technology with other technology is also highlighted in the review. Our Fuzionfit, an adaptive compression band, and Pwrtape, kinesiology tape overlay for support, “includes zoned areas of strength to give lockdown on the footbed for stability, but also lateral movement.”

Last but certainly not least, the article puts the personal storytelling of an athlete in the spotlight. The author admires the Stewie 1 for its focus on colour that “led PUMA to a two-layer neoprene mesh that allows the colours to pop through the top layer and tell the Seattle star’s story while ensuring weight reduction in the performance silhouette.”  Beautiful descriptions and an awesome review!
