April 16, 2024Effective the morning of Round 1 of the 2024 Masters, Viktor Hovland has partnered with PUMA Golf on his footwear. Viktor, welcome to Team PUMA.
The Norwegian athlete has been wearing PUMA’s Ignite Articulate model for over a year with no formal agreement due to the exceptional comfort and performance provided by PUMA GOLF’s superior technology and design expertise.
I started wearing PUMA shoes because I really liked the style and comfort. Shoes are critical for me because I use my feet to read greens. I’ve worked closely with the PUMA team to build shoes that perform well with AimPoint and are very comfortable.

According to the Official World Golf Rankings, Viktor is currently the 6th ranked player in the world. A standout at Oklahoma State, the young Norwegian won the 2018 U.S. Amateur and reached number one in the Amateur Golf Ranking in 2019, when he also finished as low amateur in both the Masters Tournament and the US Open. Since turning professional after the ’19 US Open, he has won six PGA Tour events, including the ’23 Tour Championship, and two European Tour events, including the ’23 BMW Championship. Victor also captured back-to-back Hero World Challenge titles in ’21 and ’22.
