PUMA releases first-ever PUMA X CLOUD9 kicks

Cloud9 blue vibes meet bold PUMA designs. We are back for another Cloud9 collection featuring the debut of PUMA x Cloud9 footwear along with apparel and accessories.
A trio of PUMA footwear silhouettes appear in the collection, which include the Future Rider, RS-X and the AGF (Active Gaming Footwear). The Future Rider has a casual street style accented with Cloud9’s vibrant blue color throughout and a lightweight midsole for soft cushioning, while the RS-X boasts a bold and exaggerated silhouette with RS technology and an ultra-cushioned midsole.

The Active Gaming Footwear features a sleek design that delivers seamless comfort, support and grip engineered to adapt to different active gaming modes with its sock-like fit. All three styles were made for the casual gamer at home and for those who compete on the big stage, allowing gamers of all levels to be comfortable no matter what they’re playing.

The new collection also features sweaters, jackets, bags, shirts, joggers and hats. They are all sporting the C9 and PUMA logo.

What is Cloud9?

Since 2013, Cloud9 has become one of the most recognizable esports organizations in the world. PUMA started to provide Cloud9 players with outfits in spring 2019.

Watch out gamers! PUMA now has an esports presence in North America, Europe, and Asia – the three regions where the industry is most prominent. A spotlight on the latest member of the family: Gen.G Esports! Esports is still growing in popularity globally as a spectator sport online and during live events. PUMA is excited to welcome Gen.G to its esports family. In the partnership with the Korean multi-gaming team, we provide official game day shirts and pants for league players. The multi-year deal already kicked-off with the LCK (League Champions Korea) Summer Split in mid-June and puts focus on the creation of a new lifestyle culture that combines the characteristics of esports and of a sports apparel brand.

You know and love our collections for some of the biggest teams in football and motorsport. Now PUMA has cemented its partnership with esports team Cloud9 to include an apparel collection. Only this spring, PUMA and Cloud9 expanded their sponsorship deal together, which includes providing outfits for Cloud9 players. For PUMA, the deal with Cloud9 marked the first major foray into esports, an area which has seen tremendous growth over the past years and has moved from a small group of enthusiasts to sell-out crowds in major arenas. To mark the debut of the collection, PUMA and Cloud9 have released: #DAREYOU, an anthem film that features people of all genders, races, and types daring the viewer to come together where the esports world of Cloud9 unites them.
