Stars at the Diamond League

It’s time for another PUMA Athlete athletics round up! Last weekend, our PUMA Athletes took part in competitions across the globe – including the third meeting of the Diamond League circuit in Florence, Italy. Read on to find out which athletes made it onto the podium. 🥇🥈🥉

The Diamond League
The annual Diamond League consists of 14 track and field competitions across the globe. This weekend, our PUMA athletes competed in Florence, Italy in the third series of the league – with athletes securing important medals.

GOLD

🥇 JuVaughn Harrison (USA) – High Jump – 2.32m

🥇 Andy Diaz (CUB) – Triple Jump – 17.75m (+0.9)

🥇 Larissa Iapichino (ITA) – Long Jump – 6.79m (0.7)

SILVER

🥈 Tina Sutej (SLO) – Pole Vault – 4.71m

🥈 Jason Joseph (SUI) – 110m Hurdles – 13.10 (-0.2) and a national record

🥈 Sanghyeok Woo (KOR) – High Jump – 2.30m

BRONZE

🥉 Nina Kennedy (AUS) – Pole Vault – 4.61m

The FBK Games
Our PUMA Athletes continued to impress at the FBK Games: an annual track and field competition in The Netherlands as part of the IAAF World Challenge Meetings (International Association of Athletics Federations).

🥇 Mondo Duplantis (SWE) achieved a World Lead (highest result of the current season) with his pole vault jump of 6.11m…

🥈 …while Kurtis Marshall (AUS) achieved second place with a pole vault jump of 5.81m.

🥇 Yaroslava Mahuchikh (UKR) won high jump with a height of 2m.

🥉 Ditaji Kambundji (SUI) achieved bronze in 100m hurdles with a time of 12.78s.

Music City Track Carnival
🥇 KC Lightfoot (USA) – Pole Vault – 6.07m – and national record with an improvement on the previous record by 2cm!

🥇 Natalliah Whyte (JAM) – 200m – 22.39 (+1.2) – and personal best

🥇 Andrennete Knight (JAM) – 400m hurdles – 54.20

The PUMA Elite Running group entered the Portland Track Festival with big success.
