PUMA LAUNCHES THE FIRST PALERMO POP-UP IN SOUTHEAST ASIA

April 8, 2024

From March 16th to 21st, PUMA Southeast Asia unveiled the latest Sportstyle Palermo collection and launched the STADIO PALERMO – Southeast Asia’s first PUMA Palermo Pop-up store. Located at centralwOrld, the world’s 9th largest shopping plaza and one of Bangkok’s most bustling shopping hubs, it featured an experiential pop-up, influenced by PUMA Palermo’s playful DNA and the colourful world of terrace fashion.

TAKE A LOOK!

STADIO PALERMO featured multiple larger-than-life installations, including an incredibly detailed 13 ft long PUMA Palermo sneaker that took over 300 hours to create meticulously.

A functional life-sized foosball court, set up alongside tiered terrace stands that are synonymous with the terrace culture that the Palermo is famous for. Guests are welcome to hop into the foosball court and experience the thrill of being the players themselves.

The double-storey STADIO PALERMO further houses

  • a retail zone where shoppers get to shop an assorted range of Palermo including Pop-up exclusive colours.
  • a surprise locker booth with mini interactive activities.
  • an immersive photo booth.
  • a Palermo shoe-customisation workshop curated by Thai artist Silapa Chantararat of Bad Rabbit Music From Heaven.

Visitors who purchased a pair of PUMA Palermo at the pop-up will get the opportunity to unleash their creativity and add a personal touch to their Palermo. Furthermore, the top three most creative designs are awarded PUMA treats. The grand prize is a chance win a pair of tickets to Italy via taking part in the photo-op activity at the pop-up!

“I am thrilled to unveil our inaugural PUMA Palermo pop-up in Bangkok, marking a historic first for Southeast Asia. Our vision is to immerse visitors in the rich Italian heritage of PUMA Palermo through an unforgettable, larger-than-life experience. With this pop-up, we're not just bringing back Palermo; we're creating a timeless, experiential journey that celebrates its status as a forever classic."
