Strong sporting women come together for “DO YOU”

October 11, 2016

“You should never sacrifice yourself, because keeping yourself and knowing who you are will get you further than trying to change who you are to either fit in or to improve your current position,” says New York City Ballet’s Mimi Staker.

The dancer follows model Cara Delevigne as one of our female ambassadors to be featured in our “DO YOU” campaign, which focuses on women. Alongside Mimi Staker, we bring together a whole roster of fearless women this month, including her New York City Ballet colleague Olivia Boisson, track and field athletes Jenna Prandini, Alexandra Wester and Tatjana Pinto, Lianma Flores Stable and Leila Consuelo Ortega Martinez of the Cuban National Volleyball Team.

Each of the women from different sports are equipped with our innovative and fashion forward sneakers and apparel, and each tells a story of bravery and confidence from their sport, art, or day to day lives.

German Track & Field Athlete Alexandra Wester found her strength in the Long Jump competition, and her positive energy and confidence took her to Rio. She says: “It all starts with the belief in yourself that you can do it. Every girl can realize their dreams if they stay true to themselves and persist on accomplishing their goals.”
