PUMA House in Tokyo shows extensive selection of historic PUMA shoes

March 17, 2022

Have you heard of our PUMA House in Tokyo, Japan yet? CATch Up had a chat with Heisuke Nozaki, Brand Communication Manager at PUMA to learn about the facility, the newly installed history wall and his personal passion for sneakers.

Tell us, what exactly is the PUMA House in Tokyo?

Heisuke: It is our PR head office and showroom. The room is pretty specious and in a fantastic location.

Where is it located?

Heisuke: It’s at Minami Aoyama in Tokyo. Minami Aoyama is a popular and vibrant fashion area. Many fashion boutiques are located near our PUMA HOUSE.

The latest feature of the PUMA House is a history wall. What is showcased on this wall?

Heisuke: The wall showcases some real PUMA classics like 1970’s CLYDE, Basket, VILAS PRO or 1980’s Suede.

You personally like to collect sneakers and things – what is your favourite piece?

Heisuke: Yes, I collect shoes, vintage denim & culture magazines. I don’t have the precise number, but I own more than 500 pairs of shoes. It is hard to pick a favourite, but my vintage Clyde and Suede have grown on my heart. I also love the latest basketball kicks and the ones from the 80s.
