What a night for our PUMA athletes! Olympic champion, Gianmarco Tamberi, wins high jump gold, while JuVaughn Harrison settles for silver and Qatar’s Mutaz Essa Barshim, who had shared the Olympic Gold in Tokyo with Gianmarco, takes home bronze. Congratulations, PUMAs!



🥇 It’s Gianmarco Tamberi first-ever world high jump title after an impressive performance at this years World Athletics Championships in Budapest. He achieved a world-leading jump of 2.36 meters, claiming the gold medal.
🥈 Despite clearing the same height, JuVaughn Harrison from the USA settled for silver on a countback.
🥉 Qatar’s Mutaz Essa Barshim, secured the bronze medal after three unsuccessful attempts at clearing 2.36 meters, the first time he hasn’t won at a major championship since he finished second at Rio 2016.
