Sports company PUMA announces today that Spanish midfielder David Silva, who earned the nickname “El Mago” (the magician) with his extraordinary ball control and many assists, has signed with PUMA Football.
A crucial part of his country’s golden generation, which took the World Cup in 2010 as well as Euro 2008 and Euro 2012, Silva scored 35 goals for Spain’s national team in 124 appearances.
At club level, Silva has delighted fans in Manchester since 2010 with 50 goals in more than 250 appearances, lifting the top flight’s trophy three times.
I was already wearing PUMA football boots when I was a kid and I am looking forward to wearing the brand again. Some peopIe call me El Mago, so for my next trick I’ll be wearing PUMA ONE

David Silva will be wearing the PUMA ONE, specifically designed to complement a player’s touch.
A perfect partnership destined to keep adding to Silva’s impressive assist tally.
With the signing of Silva, PUMA Football adds another star player to its roster, following announcements earlier this year of partnerships with players such as Luis Suárez and Romelu Lukaku.
