PUMA Athlete Mondo Duplantis wins European Men’s Athlete of the Year Award 2022

He is BORN TO FLY! 🦅 PUMA athlete Armand “Mondo” Duplantis was a class of his own in the pole vault also in 2022. Mondo won the gold medal at the World Athletics Championships in Eugene earlier this year, followed by the European title in Munich. He also broke his own world record this year – it now stands at an incredible 6.21m 🐐! Now the Golden Track Awards were presented in Tallinn (Estonia) and Mondo was crowned European Men’s Athlete of the Year. Another memorable season for our beloved Swede.

PUMA Athlete Mondo Duplantis wins gold in Eugene, sets new world record of 6.21m in pole vault

PUMA Athlete Mondo Duplantis sets another world record and won the gold a the World Athletics Championships in Eugene on Sunday, proving once again that there is no other pole vaulter like him. 🐐 At the indoor Championships in Belgrade this year, Mondo hat set the World Record to 6.20 but he went one centimeter higher on Sunday, jumping an incredible 6.21m. It is the fifth time Mondo has broken the world record in his career, and he is only 22 years old. The previous pole vaulter to hold the world record was Sergey Bubka, who set a mark of 6.14, five years before Mondo was even born. Mondo’s gold is the third individual gold medal for PUMA athletes at the World Athletics Championships, following 200m sprinter Shericka Jackson and triple jumper Pedro Pichardo.
