If football is the Beautiful Game, this is its gallery opening. The PUMA x KidSuper collection turns kits into canvases, blending football, fashion, and art. From water color splashes to baroque gold and hand drawn mountain ranges, each piece is painted with purpose. The art of football, freshly framed for the the world’s biggest club stage. Enter the exhibition!

With the world’s best clubs gearing up for this year’s Club World Cup, we knew each team deserved more than just a kit – they deserved a unique work of art. This collection is our way of celebrating their stories, their spirit, and the game itself.

Behind the Brushstrokes

For Colm Dillane, the artist and designer behind KidSuper, football is a living canvas.

“Football is an art form,” he says.
“This collection goes beyond the pitch. It’s about daring to express yourself, taking risks, and standing out.”

That’s why PUMA and KidSuper have joined forces to reimagine this summer’s biggest club tournament with hand-drawn graphics, watercolor palettes, and heritage-inspired designs splashed across jerseys, boots, and lifestyle gear. Seven Clubs, seven freshly painted stories.

Let’s take a look at the masterpieces!

Manchester City Football Club 🇬🇧

Founded: 1880

Nickname: The Citizens

Stadium: Etihad Stadium

Trophies: 8 Premier League titles, 1 UEFA Champions League

Beyond the Pitch: Citizens are known for a lot of funny rituals. Inflatable bananas became a symbol of fan culture in the ’80s – a classic case of City fans turning their unique humor into heritage.

Beneath the Jersey: Man City’s kit brings back the iconic sash from the ‘70s—a golden era with legends like Colin Bell, so it’s basically a love letter to their roots. But KidSuper didn’t just recycle old-school vibes, he added splashed on watercolor textures and hand-painted details that turn the classic football gear into wearable art. The Poznań celebration graphic? Drawing from the cult fan celebration – linked arms, backs turned, all jumping in sync – capturing City’s passionate, quirky support.

BVB Borussia Dortmund 🇩🇪

Founded: 1909

Nickname: Die Schwarzgelben (The Black and Yellow)

Stadium: Signal Iduna Park

Trophies: 8 Bundesliga titles, 1 UEFA Champions League

Beyond the Pitch: The Yellow Wall houses over 25,000 standing fans – one of the loudest stands and a living artwork in football.

Beneath the Jersey: Borussia Dortmund’s new kit doesn’t play it safe – it plays it loud. Classic black and yellow? Of course. But this isn’t just tradition – hand-drawn, street-art graphics bring a fresh vibe. The honeycomb pattern on the shoulders? That’s not just design – it’s science, symbolism, and a clever nod to unity, teamwork, and Dortmund’s “Schwarzgelben” nickname. This new kit is bold, confident, and unmistakably BVB.

Sociedade Esportiva Palmeiras 🇧🇷

Founded: 1914

Nickname: Verdão

Stadium: Allianz Parque

Trophies: 12 national league titles, 3 Copa Libertadores

Beyond the Pitch: Their “Porco” (pig) mascot started as an insult from rival fins – now it’s a symbol of unity and strength and beloved by the club and its supporters.

Beneath the Jersey:  Founded by Italian immigrants in 1914, Palmeiras blends Italian class with Brazilian fire. This kit’s a baroque masterpiece – golden base like a trophy, and these swirling, ornate leaf motifs that scream “we’ve been champions since before you were born.” It’s not just shiny for the sake of shiny—it nods to their 1951 Copa Rio win, aka the original Club World Champion title. Basically, it’s a regal flex that says, “We’ve been winning since forever.”

FC Red Bull Salzburg 🇦🇹

Founded: 1933 (rebranded 2005)

Nickname: Die Roten Bullen (the red bulls)

Stadium: Red Bull Arena

Trophies: 17 Austrian Bundesliga titles

Beyond the Pitch: Red Bull Salzburg is so prolific in youth development, fans jokingly “bet” on who will be the next breakout star.

Beneath the Jersey: In Salzburg’s kit alpine chic meets urban cool. The hand-painted edelweiss flowers represent purity and toughness, rooted in the Alps but splashed with KidSuper’s NYC edge. The ivory, lemon, and baby blue palette feels fresh and cosmopolitan – perfect for a club that’s all about balancing local pride with a global vibe. It’s pure mountain air mixed with big city swagger.

Mamelodi Sundowns Football Club 🇿🇦

Founded: Early 1960s

Nickname: The Brazilians

Stadium: Loftus Versfeld Stadium

Trophies: 15 league titles, 1 CAF Champions League, 2023 African Football League

Beyond the Pitch: Mamelodi Fans bring handmade drums and vuvuzelas, creating a matchday soundtrack like no other.

Beneath the Jersey: Inspired by Tshwane’s evening sky, this kit blends sunny yellows with cool mountain blues and greens. It captures the rhythm and joy of Sundowns’ playstyle – called “shoeshine and piano” – warm, vibrant, and full of local flavor. The colors aren’t random; they’re a love letter to the club’s tradition and the natural beauty around them. Wearing this is like channeling the South African sunset and the team’s unstoppable energy.

Al Hilal Saudi Football Club 🇸🇦

Founded: 1957

Nickname: Al Zaeem (The Boss), The Blue Waves

Stadium: Kingdom Arena / King Fahd International

Trophies: 19 Saudi Pro League titles, 4 AFC Champions Leagues, 11 King’s Cups

Beyond the Pitch: The club’s name, meaning “The Crescent,” was handpicked by royal decree in 1957.

Beneath the Jersey: Al-Hilal’s name means “crescent moon,” and this kit nails that celestial vibe with layers of blues and a glowing lunar graphic. It’s ambition and identity wrapped in fabric – like wearing the night sky on your chest. The design connects Saudi heritage with a global reach, embodying the club’s “Boss” mentality. It’s sleek, dreamy, and confident, a perfect fit for a team aiming for the stars.

Club de Fútbol Monterrey Rayados A.C. 🇲🇽

Founded: 1945

Nickname: Rayados

Stadium: Estadio BBVA

Trophies: 5 league titles, 5 CONCACAF Champions Leagues

Beyond the Pitch: The Clásico Regio derby between Monterrey and Tigres UANL is so intense that the city stops – families, friends, and businesses rearrange their days to watch, showing how football shapes life and even divides households in Monterrey.

Beneath the Jersey: Monterrey’s kit rocks bold geometric patterns and hand-painted mountain motifs – a shoutout to the rugged terrain that shapes the city’s spirit. Navy accents to create a vibrant and beautiful piece of art. The kit celebrates the Club’s rich history while embracing modernity, bringing the spirit of northern Mexico to the international stage.

The Full Collection

It takes boots to football – that’s why the The PUMA x KidSuper drop also includes beautiful FUTURE, ULTRA, and KING boots with wild, vivid colorways that could actually hang in a gallery – but feel better scoring goals.

Each team’s lineup is rounded out with a KIDSUPER Retro Shirt, Graphic Tee, Shorts, Pants, and a Reversible Jacket, bringing the artful energy beyond the pitch.

With the Club World Cup on the doorstep, it’s time for these paintings to leave their frames and for our PUMA teams to step onto the pitch. The whole PUMAFam is ready to show up loud, proud, and painted in passion.

Seven clubs, countless stories, and one global exhibition celebrating the art of football.
