Backstory

The H-Street traces its origins to the track. In the late 1990s, PUMA introduced the Harambee, a featherweight racing spike named after a Swahili phrase meaning “pull together.” Designed for speed, the silhouette eventually evolved into the H-Street, carrying its performance roots into everyday wear.  
 
This latest version reimagines the streamlined runner through a Mary Jane lens. An open forefoot, elastic strap, and breathable mesh upper keep the shoe breezy and flexible, while details like the T-shaped toe and track-inspired outsole nod to its running heritage.

How to Style It

Part of the fascination with the sneaker-ballet flat lies in its range: dress it up, dress it down, wear it to the club or the gym. The versatile design sits at the intersection of sport and softness – part sneaker, part Mary Jane, part ballet flat.  
 
When styling, the key is to embrace this contrast, pairing athletic pieces with feminine silhouettes and delicate details with unexpected utilitarian fabrics, emphasizing how different elements can coexist rather than compete.

Lean on the feminine cues embedded in footwear with light layers and fluidity, as seen in our first look inspired by the new warm-white colourway.

Anchor the outfit around a statement mid-to-long skirt, preferably in an interesting fabric like silk or satin. Then, to balance out the slightly “extra” piece, go for an oversized essential on top, like this crisp white tee with embroidered detailing on the chest.
