It’s a wrap! The Diamond League season concluded with a bang for our PUMA athletes at the final in Brussels last weekend. Here are some of the standout performances. Now, we eagerly anticipate our athletes rocking the marathon season!

FOREVER. FASTER. STYLE

Our athletes clinched TEN event wins at the Diamond League Final in Brussels! Julien Alfred and Ackeem Blake triumphed in the 100m, while Charlie Dobson secured a thrilling victory in the 400m.

FOREVER. HIGHER. STYLE

Mondo capped off his undefeated season with a meeting record, Yaroslava once again claimed the high jump title, Leyanis Perez took home the triple jump win, and Tajay Gayle returned to top form, defeating the Olympic champion!

On Day 2 in Brussels, our PUMA jumpers added three more victories! Gianmarco Tamberi won the high jump, Pedro Pichardo triumphed in the triple jump, and Nina Kennedy ended an incredible season with another pole vault win!

HALF MARATHON CHAMP ALERT!

PUMA athlete Esther Pfeiffer became the new Champion in the Half Marathon, setting a new personal best!

Unbelievable Yaroslava 🤯 World Record!!!

The World is hers! We always knew she had what it takes! Now she has shown it in FOREVER. HIGHER. – style! Our PUMA athlete Yaroslava Mahuchikh has broken the long-standing (37 years! 🤯🤯) world record in the women’s high jump. Yaroslava achieved a remarkable jump of 2.10 meters at the Meeting de Paris on the weekend, which is part of the prestigious Wanda Diamond League.

High Jump Domination

The 2023 Diamond League is still in full swing and our PUMA Athletes are continuing to dominate in their disciplines. The eighth-tenth Diamond League meetings took place in Silesia, Monaco and London. JuVaughn Harrison, Mutaz Essa Barshim and Thomas Carmoy dominated the high jump in London by claiming all three medals, while newly signed Julien Alfred claimed her first medal in PUMA with a 200m silver medal in Monaco.

A New Australian Record

This weekend saw the sixth and seventh meetings of the Diamond League take place in Lausanne and Stockholm. PUMA Athlete Nicola Olyslagers smashed the Australian record in high jump, coming away with a gold medal, while Mondo Duplantis continued to defend his winning streak. Read on to find out more! 🥇 In Lausanne, PUMA claimed two gold medals! Nicola Olyslagers (AUS) broke the Australian high jump record, with a height of 2.02m – achieving her own personal best and setting the world lead. LaQuan Nairn (BAH) won his own gold medal in the long jump with 8.11m. 🥈 Jason Joseph (SUI) claimed silver in the 110m hurdles with a speed of 13.23 (-1.0)! Wilma Murto (FIN) flew into second place in pole vault with height of 4.77m. 🥉 Yaroslava Mahuchikh (UKR) continued to make the PUMA Family proud with her bronze medal in high jump, with a height of 1.97m.
