Our PUMA athlete Yaroslava Mahuchikh has broken the long-standing (37 years! đ¤Żđ¤Ż) world record in the womenâs high jump. Yaroslava achieved a remarkable jump of 2.10 meters at the Meeting de Paris on the weekend, which is part of the prestigious Wanda Diamond League.
REWRITING WHAT´S POSSIBLE
The previous record of 2.09 meters, set by Stefka Kostadinova of Bulgaria in 1987, had remained unchallenged for 37 years until Yaroslavaâs historic jump on the weekend. The Ukrainian world champion, approached the event with a quiet confidence, hinting at her readiness to make history.
