Fair Pay in Italy 🇮🇹🤌
Esteve Planas, Managing Director of PUMA Southern Europe
HOW IT IS DONE
To calculate if there is a pay gap, salary differences are assessed based on managerial responsibility, tenure in the role, type of employment, and job evaluation in terms of required skills and impact on the organization in the country of analysis. In order to certify equality in its remuneration policy, PUMA Italy assessed the salaries for each role in a gender-neutral manner, focusing exclusively on the characteristics of the job to be performed rather than the individual characteristics of the employee. This allowed for a standardised and transparent process for the definition of remuneration and salary increases.EQUAL PAY AT PUMA
In addition to PUMA Germany, which achieved this milestone in 2023, and PUMA Spain, PUMA Sweden and PUMA Middle East, which received certification in 2024, PUMA Italy now joins the ranks of certified locations that promote pay equity for all their employees.
