Our PUMA HQ in Herzogenaurach Hosts Week Centred Around Well-Being

December 5, 2022

Sports, health and nutrition! This week our PUMA Wellbeing Team hosted a “Be Well Week” at our HQ in Herzogenaurach, centred around all things health. The team put together a session-packed week with sports courses, health checks and nutrition tips – led by experts and our own employees. Read below to find out more!

Nutrition

Whether it is maintaining healthy nutrition during winter or wondering where to even start with a balanced diet, this workshop provided all the answers! Nutritionist Catarina Pacheco ran a workshop on “how to stay fit in the cold season” and also advised on individual nutrition. This could even be based on your InBody measurement, if wanted. Our canteen also provided everyone with various specials for healthy meals.

PUMA employees had the opportunity to sign up for a three day juice cleanse, partnered with start-up company Kraftschluck. We also had a freshly pressed orange juice stand in the canteen!

Health

If you were more interested in understanding your own body and health, there was the opportunity to get to know your body through different tests as well as active mindfulness sessions. Health insurance companies AOK and BARMER came to the office to offer employees a variety of health checks. BARMER offered spine checks, while AOK analysed body composition as well as stability, sensorimotor and symmetry in their S3 checks.

The mind is one of the most important parts of the body to take care of. We offered a mindfulness walk, a forest bathing trip and meditation to help employees practice mindfulness. Our own PUMA employees Polina Ivanova led the mindfulness walk and Anja Heinbach led the meditation! There was also an Art Night to practice mindfulness through creativity.

Sports Courses

We also offered a variety of sports classes to get employees moving. Experienced guest coaches held jumping fitness, pole-dancing and Krav Maga classes, while there was also a variety of dance classes on offer, including hip hop and salsa. For a more relaxed workout, employees could also enjoy yoga or improve their body awareness in flexibility training with PUMA employee Lara Carrascosa. Fighting art courses kickboxing and self defence helped employees get in shape while also teaching them how to defend themselves. Julian Maier from URBNTIGER came to the HQ to give a class on mental martial arts. We even had a virtual reality experience session with PUMA employee Ronald Vollath!

We also had some fun outings planned! Lasertag, minigolf and airtrail were all on offer to get employees together for some team bonding.
