PUMA launches PUMA Kit Factory

November 24, 2021

1,2,3, customize! We have just launched our PUMA Kit Factory on the German market. It is a platform on which our consumers can individualize jerseys. All products are made of sustainable material (recycled polyester) and are produced in Europe (Turkey). This enables us to offer particularly short delivery times. We are planning to gradually roll out the tool in other markets soon. CATch Up asked Mona Hartmann (Teamhead Product Line Management) and Alexandra Barthel (Product Line Manager Teamsport) about the specifics of the PUMA Kit Factory. Learn more!

What exactly is the PUMA Kit Factory?

Alexandra: The PUMA Kit Factory is a platform on which our consumers can customize jerseys in their team colors, with a unique design and their club logos. With this special service, we want to give every team the opportunity to stand out on the football pitch and make them feel like the next champions. The PUMA Kit Factory will be the fastest customization tool on the market. Our vision is to become the fastest and most relevant brand in the customization business in teamwear.

What has the customizer tool to do with ´Faster Football´?

Mona: Since we offer the fastest customization experience in the teamwear market, the PUMA Kit Factory is a perfect example and a contributor to ´Faster Football´.

What can consumers do?

Mona: Consumers can create their own, individual jerseys on the platform. With a variety of colors and designs, every club can design a unique jersey. It is possible to upload the club’s crest and sponsor logos and to add the player’s name, the name of the club and player numbers to the jersey. Consumers can view their individually designed jerseys in real time in a 3D animation. In addition, we are strengthening our partnership with 11teamsports, as they are responsible for the embellishment of the jerseys and send the finished kits to the consumer.

What else is planned after the DACH launch?

Alexandra: Of course, we want to gradually roll out the tool in other markets and we already worked on the roll-out plan. The launch in the DACH market is definitely just the beginning of the PUMA Kit Factory.
