February 11, 2019This is what we mean by POWER UP: When Manchester City battered Chelsea FC with a 6 – 0 win on Sunday, PUMA Football Player Sergio Agüero scored his second hat trick in a week’s time, wearing the PUMA ONE POWER UP Pack.
Manchester City’s striker Agüero first scored after 13 minutes with a stunning strike hammered into the top corner from outside the box.
His second goal followed only six minutes later, when he intercepted a poorly executed header from Chelsea’s Ross Barkley and neatly tucked the ball away. In the second half, he completed his hat trick from the penalty spot.
Our POWER UP pack really lives up to its name: It was Agüero’s second hat trick in a week’s time. Last Sunday, Agüero also hit the net three times, wearing, of course, his POWER UP football boots!
With his 11th hat trick in the English league since he came from Atlético Madrid in 2011, he equaled the record for the most hat tricks in league history set by former Newcastle striker Alan Shearer.
With 17 goals scored in total in the current season, Sergio Agüero is the league’s joint Top Scorer with Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah.
