March 14, 2023A partnership that would be impossible in the animal kingdom – the big cat and the zebras! Today PUMA and the German handball record champion THW Kiel announced their partnership. The “Zebras” from the Fjord will already wear the PUMA on their chest for the upcoming 2023/24 season.
THW Kiel has shaped handball for decades like no other club – nationally and internationally. The names of the world stars who have worn the Kiel jersey over the years and are currently wearing it are numerous. The titles and records that the club has been able to collect in its remarkable history are countless: four-time Champions League winner, record champion and record cup winner are signs of Kiel’s road to success.
In the future, the big cat and the zebra will meet to hunt for points and titles together. Through the partnership with THW Kiel, PUMA continues to intensify its handball activities in Germany. The topic of sustainability will also play a major role in the partnership. Support for the FÖR DE Küste project, which works to protect the Baltic Sea and threatened coasts, is just one example.

We are all hugely excited about the start of the cooperation between two world brands rich in tradition. The enthusiasm for each other has been almost tangible in the intensive talks on both sides. Apart from the high sporting goals that both partners have, we also want to develop further together with PUMA, for example, in the area of creative fan collections and thus form a successful, highly visible strong duo on the handball field, in the hall and also in everyday life!"
The big cat is already the official partner of the DHB, Füchse Berlin, HSV Hamburg and BVB Handball-Damen. As one of the largest sports companies in the world, PUMA is particularly characterized by its many years of product experience, quality, creativity and innovation.
The new PUMA x THW collection will be presented for the first time at the beginning of the new season. The scope includes jerseys, textiles, accessories and other merchandise.
