COBRA PUMA GOLF Athlete Jesper Svensson Secures his maiden DP World Tour

COBRA PUMA Golf athlete Jesper Svensson captured his maiden DP World Tour win today, at the Porsche Singapore Classic.

Rounds of 68/73/67 and a final round of -9 63 saw the 28-year-old Swede post a -17 total, and enter a play-off, where he secured his victory at the 3rd extra hole, in just his 14th start as a DP World Tour player.

The win moves Jesper into third place in the Race to Dubai standings and follows on from an exhilarating breakthrough year that has already yielded 2 runner up finishes. A Victory for Sweden

With a 30 foot birdie putt on the second playoff hole, Mikael Lindberg secured a big win at the Royal Cape Golf Club. Going head to head with South African Ryan van Velzen to claim the title, Mikael led the tournament as he headed into the final round and to victory. 🏆 In a close competition, Lindberg started the final round of the tournament in the lead. After making a mistake on the third hole, he quickly recovered by scoring five birdies in the next seven holes, but was still one stroke behind his competitor. He managed to regain the lead by scoring birdies in the 16th and 17th holes, but unfortunately struggled on the final hole, taking three putts to finish. As a result, both Mikael and Ryan had to return to the 18th tee, where Mikael claimed his victory. The 31-year-old Swede’s victory means he is now second place in the season-long Road to Mallorca Rankings.
