Top athletes are often involved in the development of their running shoes to create the optimal shoe. Normal runners usually don’t have this option.
But German magazine “Running” comes to help.
They tested men’s running shoes from different brands in the “2018 Running Shoe Test”, among them the PUMA Speed 300 Ignite 3.
A diverse team of runners collected a lot of miles on different surfaces and under different weather conditions, carefully analysing and examining men’s running shoes.
In the end, the results comprised the feedback of amateur athletes, track and field athletes, marathon runners and extreme athletes.
The tested PUMA shoe, the Speed 300 Ignite 3, is a lightweight running shoe, that the magazine labelled as a “racing shoe”.
Their conclusion:
“It is real fun in its latest version. The flexible sole allows the runner to develop a good feel for the ground during fast units and gives direct feedback. Nevertheless, the damping is not neglected, and the PUMA is a great shoe for competition and training, even at longer distances. The breathable mesh-fabric allows any movement. The Speedtraction outsole always provides enough grip even on wet asphalt, so that the power can be optimally translated into propulsion. It’s worth trying out.”
