This is the next level! We are proud to let you know about our 2022/23 Manchester City Third kit launch in the Metaverse. Our vibrant new kit was unveiled yesterday for the first time on Roblox (online game platform). Players had the opportunity to explore and interact with the new kit in the PUMA and the Land of Games experience. The new Third jersey revealed in the experience celebrates Manchester creativity with a Fizzy Light and Parisian Night Color palette featuring bold details inspired by the city’s street art. Take a look!   The special Metaverse event featured a Manchester City reskin of the current lobby and stadium in PUMA and the Land of Games and for a limited time only, the experience will also feature the Manchester City Home and Third kits. The event brings also new community-created merchandise, new in-experience, Layered Clothing items and updates to featured activities.

RE:FIBRE is PUMA’s program to transform textile waste and other used materials into new textiles. What started as a pilot with the name RE:JERSEY in 2022 has grown into RE:FIBRE and will continue to expand in 2023. Down the hall, around the corner, down the stairs, out of the building and around the block: It took almost five minutes to walk to the end of the queue in front of the PUMA store at the Alto Palermo Mall in Buenos Aires when Manchester City legend Pablo Zabaleta arrived for a meet and greet and showed off the Premiere League Trophy, which ManCity won last season. In 2019, PUMA signed a long-term agreement with the City Football Group, a very successful partnership, which has already seen Manchester City win the Premier League and two League Cups. The Premier League Trophy has embarked on a world tour, where some of the club’s legends of the past will show the highest award in English football to the fans.     But it wasn’t just smiles and autographs. Pablo Zabaleta’s visit to Buenos Aires also had a serious side, as he paid a special visit to the La Cava neighbourhood in Buenos Aires to meet local young leaders who are using the power of football to help solve local water issues. This is an important topic, as an estimated 3.7 million people in the poorer suburbs of the Argentine capital do not have access to water mains and last summer, water levels in the Paraná River hit a 77-year low. ManCity’s away kit this season is inspired by water and is printed with Dope Dye, a process which uses less water. As part of the away shirt campaign, PUMA and ManCity support a global network of football and safe water programmes, aiming to reach 10,000 children across three continents.

Ever since we announced our deal with Manchester City in February, we have all been waiting with bated breath for the launch of the kits for our first season with the English champions. Well, that wait is over. Inspiration for the 2019/20 home kit came from the city of Manchester itself and its rich industrial heritage. The kit celebrates the true grit, fight, and character that emerged from the cotton mills of Manchester. The woven jacquard wave pattern, running through the shirt, is a visual representation of the looms which were integral to the industrial revolution in of the economic powerhouse of northern England. The iconic City blue is highlighted with purple, a colour previously used in club kits, and is used on the home shirt for the first time.
