What a jump!

PUMA Athlete Will Claye wins U.S. trials in triple jump
June 22, 2021
PUMA athlete Will Claye showed that he is on form this year, by winning the U.S. trials in Eugene, Oregon with a jump of 17.21 meters.
The triple jumper fought back from injury last year to be in form for what could be the most important year of his career. Claye has won two World Indoor Championships but is yet looking to win the top spot outdoors.

I had a really good feeling about this jump and it’s great to see that my preparations are on track,” Claye said after the event. “My PUMA spikes felt great and gave me the confidence to go for it when it mattered most.

With Will Claye, Portuguese athlete Pedro Pichardo and Cubans Andy Díaz and Jordan Díaz, PUMA has a very strong line-up of athletes in triple jump this season.

In other disciplines, there was good news for PUMA’s most recent signing in pole vault, KC Lightfoot, who came in third in the trials.
