PUMA Athlete Breanna “Stewie” Stewart Wins WNBA Champs with New York Liberty!

Congrats, Stewie! PUMA athlete Breanna Stewart has clinched her third WNBA championship, this time with the New York Liberty, marking the team’s first-ever WNBA title. Previously, Stewie won two championships with the Seattle Storm in 2018 and 2020. This victory is particularly special as it is her first championship playing for her home state, New York.

Stewie had an outstanding 2024 WNBA season, averaging 20.4 points, 8.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 1.7 steals, and 1.3 blocks per game. Her stellar performance earned her a spot on the All-WNBA First Team for the sixth consecutive season.

In the WNBA Finals, her contributions were crucial. Despite a challenging shooting night in Game 5, she hit two critical free throws with 5.0 seconds left to tie the game, leading to a dramatic finish.
