COBRA PUMA GOLF Athlete Moa Folke secures victory on Ladies Sunshine Tour at Dimension Data Ladies Pro-Am

Take a bow Moa Folke! Our PUMA athlete Moe Folke captured a big win at the Dimension Data Ladies Pro-Am, at Fancourt Resort, George, South Africa! 🎉 Moa is part of the COBRA PUMA Golf family since January 2023, and switched straight into our new AEROJET Driver and Fairways, and the KING TOUR Irons ahead of her 2023 season. The Swedish professional golfer plays on the Ladies European Tour.

What a round!
Rounds of 71 and 73 saw Moa five shots off the lead heading into the final round, before a scintillating, bogey free 64 (-8) secured a 3 shot victory in the individual event. We only started working with Moa this season, and we are very proud that she trusts us to support her with her equipment, apparel, and footwear. “We’re delighted for Moa securing such a resounding win, so early in the 2023 season”, said Joe Folker, Senior Sports Marketing Manager Golf – Europe.

The 27-year-old Moa Folke turned professional after she graduated in 2018. Before entering qualification for the LPGA Tour, she played in a few tournaments on the Swedish Golf Tour. In 2019, she won the Tegelberga Open, six strokes ahead of runner-up Linn Grant.

Playing in three Sunshine Ladies Tour events in early 2022, she held the lead after the first round of the Dimension Data Ladies Pro-Am, but eventually had to settle for a tie for 8th place.

Moa earned conditional status for the 2022 Ladies European Tour at Q-School. In her rookie season, she finished tied 14th at the Australian Ladies Classic – Bonville in April, and tied for 5th at the Mithra Belgian Ladies Open in May. In September, she led by two strokes at the halfway stage of the Women’s Irish Open after firing a second round 62, ten under par. A final round 73 saw her finish tied 14th.

What a victory! PUMA Golf athletes celebrate an emotional first and second place at the European Tour. After a nightmare run of injuries, Kristoffer Broberg claimed his second European Tour trophy on Sunday at the Dutch Open. Kristoffer won the tournament with a three-shot victory. PUMA athlete Matthias Schmid went round in an impressive 66 to finish second on 20 under par.

COBRA PUMA Golf Extends Partnership with DP World Tour Player Ewen Ferguson

Scottish national Ewen Ferguson and COBRA PUMA Golf extend their partnership. Ewen first joined PUMA in 2019 and began using COBRA equipment in 2020. He will continue to dress head to toe in PUMA apparel and compete with COBRA clubs for the foreseeable future! We are excited to work with Ewen to take his game to the next level. ⛳️ The DP World Tour Player graduated from the 2021 Challenge Tour and had his first professional win at the 2022 Commercial Bank Qatar Masters. In August, Ewen secured his second title at the ISPS Handa World Invitational at Galgorm Castle Golf Club. Ewen secured his win wearing PUMA and using COBRA’s LTDx Driver, LTDx LS Fairway, LTDx Hybrid and COBRA KING TOUR MiM Irons.
