Il a r\u00e9alis\u00e9 un saut de 2,36 m\u00e8tres, le meilleur du monde, et a remport\u00e9 la m\u00e9daille d'or.\n\ud83e\udd48 Bien qu'ayant franchi la m\u00eame hauteur, l'Am\u00e9ricain JuVaughn Harrison s'est content\u00e9 de la m\u00e9daille d'argent \u00e0 l'issue d'un compte \u00e0 rebours.\nLe Qatarien Mutaz Essa Barshim a obtenu la m\u00e9daille de bronze apr\u00e8s trois tentatives infructueuses pour franchir 2,36 m\u00e8tres.
