And although short term goals are an important part of staying motivated and continually improving, I realized that simply building an active lifestyle trumps all.\\n\\u00a0\\nThis became even more clear as I worked more with adults of 60y+, noticing a huge discrepancy in the quality of life between those who had regularly exercised and those who hadn\\u2019t. It became evident that being active across a lifetime pays off, not only physically but mentally too. WHACK. I realized it was important to train with the future in mind right now, despite age. The media sell short term goals as a quick fix to motivation, and while it is satisfying to be able to achieve that pull up goal or run a half marathon, the long game is where it\\u2019s at.\\nTraining for our future selves doesn\\u2019t need to feel abstract. Et bien que les objectifs \u00e0 court terme soient un \u00e9l\u00e9ment important pour rester motiv\u00e9 et s'am\u00e9liorer continuellement, j'ai r\u00e9alis\u00e9 que le simple fait de d\u00e9velopper un mode de vie actif l'emportait sur tout le reste.<\/span>\n<br\/>\u00a0<br\/>\n<br\/>Cela est devenu encore plus clair lorsque j'ai travaill\u00e9 davantage avec des adultes de plus de 60 ans, <strong>constatant un \u00e9cart consid\u00e9rable dans la qualit\u00e9 de vie entre ceux qui avaient fait r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement de l'exercice et ceux qui n'en avaient pas fait.<\/strong> Il est devenu \u00e9vident que le fait d'\u00eatre actif tout au long de la vie est payant, non seulement physiquement, mais aussi mentalement. WHACK. J'ai r\u00e9alis\u00e9 qu'il \u00e9tait important de s'entra\u00eener en pensant \u00e0 l'avenir d\u00e8s maintenant, malgr\u00e9 l'\u00e2ge. Les m\u00e9dias vendent des objectifs \u00e0 court terme comme une solution rapide \u00e0 la motivation, et bien qu'il soit satisfaisant d'\u00eatre capable d'atteindre cet objectif de traction ou de courir un semi-marathon, <strong>c'est le jeu \u00e0 long terme qui compte.<\/strong>\nS'entra\u00eener pour son avenir n'a pas besoin d'\u00eatre abstrait. Le plus beau, c'est que les b\u00e9n\u00e9fices commencent d\u00e8s demain et ne feront que s'accro\u00eetre pour le reste de votre vie.<br\/>\n<br\/>Comment l'exercice r\u00e9gulier peut-il donc am\u00e9liorer la qualit\u00e9 de vie future ?<br\/>\n<br\/>\u00a0<br\/>\n<\/div>\n   <\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<!-- row text single -->\n<div class=\"gradientnone\">\n<div class=\"row rowSingleColumnWide spacing\">\n    <div class=\"col articleText\">\n        <div class=\"textStyle_2b\" ><br\/><strong>L\u00e8ve l'\u00e9nergie<\/strong><br\/>\n<br\/><strong>Avec l'\u00e2ge, la bataille devient celle du maintien de la forme, de la force et de l'\u00e9nergie.<\/strong> Non seulement l'exercice r\u00e9gulier permet de lutter contre le d\u00e9clin naturel du m\u00e9tabolisme, de la fonction musculaire et de la forme cardiovasculaire, mais il am\u00e9liore \u00e9galement la qualit\u00e9 du sommeil, ce qui vous donne plus d'\u00e9nergie pour vivre pleinement votre vie.<br\/>\n<br\/>\u00a0<br\/>\n<br\/><strong>Am\u00e9liore la mobilit\u00e9<\/strong><br\/>\n<br\/>D\u00e9fini comme \u201cla capacit\u00e9 de se d\u00e9placer\u201d, <strong>la mobilit\u00e9 est si importante pour conserver son ind\u00e9pendance au fur et \u00e0 mesure que l'on vieillit.<\/strong> Il nous permet de participer \u00e0 des activit\u00e9s culturelles, sociales et physiques importantes tout au long de notre vie.
