Avez-vous des conseils sp\u00e9cifiques pour vous entra\u00eener \u00e0 devenir plus rapide ?<\/strong><br><\/span>Il y a de nombreux facteurs qui aident une personne \u00e0 courir plus vite : la condition physique, la force, la vitesse, la puissance, la technique, etc. Il n'y a pas qu'un seul facteur. Il faut s'entra\u00eener de diff\u00e9rentes mani\u00e8res et couvrir tous les aspects.<br><br><br><span class=\"interviewq\"><strong>Quel est le d\u00e9roulement typique d'une s\u00e9ance d'entra\u00eenement ?<\/strong><br><\/span>Il n'y a pas vraiment de s\u00e9ance type - pour moi, l'entra\u00eenement se fait soit sur la piste, soit dans la salle de sport. Cela d\u00e9pend de la p\u00e9riode de l'ann\u00e9e et de ce sur quoi nous travaillons. Sur la piste, je peux travailler sur tout, de l'endurance aux aspects techniques de ma course - le d\u00e9part, la phase d'entra\u00eenement, la transition pour le 100 m et le 200 m. En salle, c'est la pr\u00e9paration g\u00e9n\u00e9rale, la force et la puissance. Dans la salle de sport, c'est le conditionnement g\u00e9n\u00e9ral, la force et la puissance.<br><br><br><span class=\"interviewq\"><strong>Combien de fois par an vous entra\u00eenez-vous ?<\/strong><br><\/span>Je m'entra\u00eene onze mois par an, six jours par semaine. Normalement le matin, puis l'apr\u00e8s-midi. C'est beaucoup de travail.<br><br><br><span class=\"interviewq\"><strong>Qu'est-ce que l'entra\u00eenement vous apporte de plus que les capacit\u00e9s physiques ?<\/strong><br><\/span>L'entra\u00eenement vous donne confiance en vous, ce qui favorise votre \u00e9tat d'esprit. Je sais que si je suis en bonne forme, il sera tr\u00e8s difficile de me battre. Cette confiance est tr\u00e8s importante pour obtenir de bons r\u00e9sultats.<br><br><br><span class=\"interviewq\"><strong>Quels types d'obstacles avez-vous rencontr\u00e9s et surmont\u00e9s pour atteindre vos objectifs ?<\/strong><br><\/span>Dans le sport de haut niveau, les blessures sont toujours un facteur de ralentissement. Nous poussons notre corps au maximum et parfois, nous avons des muscles ou des articulations endoloris ou bless\u00e9s. J'ai eu plusieurs blessures au cours de ma carri\u00e8re, mais heureusement, j'ai un bon entra\u00eeneur et une bonne \u00e9quipe pour m'aider \u00e0 revenir au sommet.<br><br><\/div>\n    <\/div>\n    <div class=\"col articleText\">\n        <div ><span class=\"interviewq\"><strong>Quel conseil donneriez-vous \u00e0 quelqu'un qui a du mal \u00e0 trouver la motivation n\u00e9cessaire pour atteindre ses objectifs ?<\/strong><br><\/span>Vous devez trouver la chose qui vous motivera. Vous n'aimez peut-\u00eatre pas vous entra\u00eener, par exemple, mais vous devez aimer la comp\u00e9tition et la victoire. Si vous voulez ces choses, vous devez \u00eatre d\u00e9termin\u00e9 et vous entra\u00eener dur.<br><br><br><span class=\"interviewq\"><strong>La formation a-t-elle beaucoup chang\u00e9 pour vous ces derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es ?<\/strong><br><\/span>Quand j'ai commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 courir, enfant, c'\u00e9tait amusant. J'\u00e9tais dou\u00e9 pour \u00e7a, alors je l'ai fait. Je n'avais pas vraiment besoin de m'entra\u00eener pour gagner des courses. En vieillissant, j'ai r\u00e9alis\u00e9 que je devais prendre davantage soin de mon corps.<br><br>Aujourd'hui, l'alimentation, le repos et la r\u00e9cup\u00e9ration sont plus importants qu'il y a quelques ann\u00e9es.<br><br><br><span class=\"interviewq\"><strong>Quel est votre plus grand objectif ?<\/strong><br><\/span>Mon plus grand objectif est de devenir le plus grand. C'est ce \u00e0 quoi je travaille. Je veux qu'on se souvienne de moi comme d'un grand sportif, qu'on entre dans l'histoire.<br><br><br><span class=\"interviewq\"><strong>Quel autre athl\u00e8te vous inspire pour devenir meilleur ?<\/strong><br><\/span>J'ai toujours admir\u00e9 (le joueur de basket am\u00e9ricain) Kevin Garnett, car c'est un joueur qui, qu'il gagne ou qu'il perde, donne tout ce qu'il a et inspire ceux qui l'entourent \u00e0 \u00e9lever leur niveau de jeu. J'admire \u00e9galement mon mentor et entra\u00eeneur Glen Mills. Il avait l'habitude de me dire : \u201cTout le monde sur le circuit, tout le monde aux championnats sont d\u00e9j\u00e0 des athl\u00e8tes talentueux. It depends\\u0026nbsp;on the time of year and what we are working on.\\u0026nbsp;On the track, it can be working on everything\\u0026nbsp;from endurance to any technical aspect of\\u0026nbsp;my race \\u0026ndash; the start, the drive phase, the transition\\u0026nbsp;for both the 100m and 200m. In the gym, it\\u0026rsquo;s\\u0026nbsp;general conditioning, strength and power.\\u0026lt;br\\u0026gt;\\u0026lt;br\\u0026gt;\\u0026lt;br\\u0026gt;\\u0026lt;span class=\\u0026quot;interviewq\\u0026quot;\\u0026gt;\\u0026lt;strong\\u0026gt;How often do you train in a year?\\u0026lt;\/strong\\u0026gt;\\u0026lt;br\\u0026gt;\\u0026lt;\/span\\u0026gt;I train for eleven months of the year, six days a\\u0026nbsp;week. Normally in the morning and then again in\\u0026nbsp;the afternoon. It\\u0026rsquo;s a lot of work.\\u0026lt;br\\u0026gt;\\u0026lt;br\\u0026gt;\\u0026lt;br\\u0026gt;\\u0026lt;span class=\\u0026quot;interviewq\\u0026quot;\\u0026gt;\\u0026lt;strong\\u0026gt;What does training do for you other than the\\u0026nbsp;physical abilities?\\u0026lt;\/strong\\u0026gt;\\u0026lt;br\\u0026gt;\\u0026lt;\/span\\u0026gt;Training gives you confidence and this helps your\\u0026nbsp;state of mind. I know if I\\u0026rsquo;m in good shape, it\\u0026rsquo;s going\\u0026nbsp;to be very hard to beat me. This confidence is\\u0026nbsp;very important in performing well.\\u0026lt;br\\u0026gt;\\u0026lt;br\\u0026gt;\\u0026lt;br\\u0026gt;\\u0026lt;span class=\\u0026quot;interviewq\\u0026quot;\\u0026gt;\\u0026lt;strong\\u0026gt;What kind of obstacles have you faced and\\u0026nbsp;overcome to achieve your goals?\\u0026lt;\/strong\\u0026gt;\\u0026lt;br\\u0026gt;\\u0026lt;\/span\\u0026gt;In elite sport, injury is always the thing that can\\u0026nbsp;slow you down. We push our bodies to the max\\u0026nbsp;and sometimes, we get sore or injured muscles\\u0026nbsp;or joints. I was\\u0026nbsp;good at it, so I just did it. I didn\\u0026rsquo;t really have to\\u0026nbsp;train that much to win races. As I got older, I realized\\u0026nbsp;that I have to take better care of my body.\\u0026lt;br\\u0026gt;\\u0026lt;br\\u0026gt;Now diet, rest and recovery are more important\\u0026nbsp;than a few years ago.\\u0026lt;br\\u0026gt;\\u0026lt;br\\u0026gt;\\u0026lt;br\\u0026gt;\\u0026lt;span class=\\u0026quot;interviewq\\u0026quot;\\u0026gt;\\u0026lt;strong\\u0026gt;What\\u0026rsquo;s your single greatest goal ever?\\u0026lt;\/strong\\u0026gt;\\u0026lt;br\\u0026gt;\\u0026lt;\/span\\u0026gt;Well, my single greatest goal is to become the\\u0026nbsp;greatest.
