Travaillant dans la maison de leurs parents, ils ont commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 produire une gamme de chaussures, certaines de leurs premi\u00e8res chaussures de sport ayant \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9velopp\u00e9es davantage comme un passe-temps ou un projet parall\u00e8le \u00e0 leur production principale.\u00a0<br><br>En 1923, Rudolf Dassler s'est vu confier des responsabilit\u00e9s en mati\u00e8re de marketing et d'affaires pour aider l'entreprise \u00e0 d\u00e9passer ses modestes d\u00e9buts.\u00a0<br><br>Un an plus tard, le 1er juillet 1924, l'entreprise est officiellement inscrite au registre du commerce sous le nom de \u201cGebr\u00fcder Dassler Sportschuhfabrik\u201d (fabrique de chaussures de sport des fr\u00e8res Dassler). Lors des Jeux olympiques de 1928 \u00e0 Amsterdam, l'athl\u00e8te allemande Lina Radke portait des chaussures de course Dassler et a \u00e9tabli un nouveau record du monde sur 800 m\u00e8tres.\u00a0<br><br>\u00c0 peu pr\u00e8s \u00e0 la m\u00eame \u00e9poque, l'entreprise a commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 exp\u00e9rimenter l'image de marque et la publicit\u00e9. Leurs chaussures ont \u00e9t\u00e9 port\u00e9es par de nombreux athl\u00e8tes d'\u00e9lite, ce qui a permis au petit fabricant allemand d'acqu\u00e9rir une notori\u00e9t\u00e9 internationale. Josef Waitzer, un proche conseiller, a jou\u00e9 un r\u00f4le cl\u00e9 dans ce succ\u00e8s en mettant les fr\u00e8res en contact direct avec les athl\u00e8tes et en leur fournissant des informations sur leurs performances, une approche qui continue de sous-tendre le mantra actuel de PUMA, \u00e0 savoir l'am\u00e9lioration des performances sportives par le biais d'une connaissance directe des athl\u00e8tes.\u00a0<br><br>L'un des moments les plus c\u00e9l\u00e8bres s'est produit lors des Jeux olympiques de 1936 \u00e0 Berlin, o\u00f9 l'athl\u00e8te am\u00e9ricain Jesse Owens a remport\u00e9 quatre m\u00e9dailles d'or alors qu'il portait des pointes Dassler. Et la s\u00e9rie de m\u00e9dailles ne s'est pas arr\u00eat\u00e9e l\u00e0. Les athl\u00e8tes portant des chaussures Dassler ont ensuite remport\u00e9 sept m\u00e9dailles d'or et cinq m\u00e9dailles de bronze, tout en battant deux records du monde et cinq records olympiques. C'est la perc\u00e9e internationale des fr\u00e8res Dassler. En 1947, 28 ans apr\u00e8s avoir fond\u00e9 leur entreprise ensemble, ils d\u00e9cident de se s\u00e9parer.\u00a0<br><br>En janvier 1948, Rudolf Dassler a enregistr\u00e9 une nouvelle entreprise de fabrication de chaussures \u00e0 la mairie de Herzogenaurach. L'entreprise s'appelle initialement \u201cSportschuhfabrik Rudolf Dassler (RUDA)\u201d.\u00a0<br><br>Avec seulement 15 employ\u00e9s, Rudolf a transform\u00e9 un ancien entrep\u00f4t en une usine op\u00e9rationnelle et a commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 cr\u00e9er sa propre marque.\u00a0<br><br>Plus tard dans l'ann\u00e9e, \u00e0 l'occasion du <strong>1er octobre 1948<\/strong>, En d\u00e9cembre, le nom PUMA est officiellement enregistr\u00e9 en tant que marque.
