Babett Lobinger a elle-m\u00eame fait l'exp\u00e9rience de cet \u00e9tat d'esprit \u00e0 un niveau tr\u00e8s personnel : \u201c Au d\u00e9but de ma carri\u00e8re, je devais presque toujours m'excuser d'\u00eatre psychologue et dire : \u2018 Je n'ai pas non plus de divan \u2019, puis expliquer ce que je faisais r\u00e9ellement derri\u00e8re tous ces mythes. \u201d \u00a0<br><br>Ces id\u00e9es fausses persistent depuis des d\u00e9cennies, m\u00eame si la psychologie du sport existe depuis bien plus longtemps.\u00a0<\/div>\n   <\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<!-- row text single -->\n<div class=\"gradientnone\">\n<div class=\"row rowSingleColumnWide spacing\">\n    <div class=\"col articleText\">\n        <div class=\"textStyle_default\" ><h2>Les racines de la psychologie du sport<\/h2>Les premi\u00e8res publications sur la psychologie du sport sont apparues d\u00e8s les ann\u00e9es 1900 et 1910. Ce domaine \u00e9tait \u00e9troitement li\u00e9 \u00e0 la performance physique et motiv\u00e9 par la question centrale de savoir comment les gens peuvent donner le meilleur d'eux-m\u00eames. \u201c Non seulement dans le sport, mais aussi dans des professions telles que l'aviation, les scientifiques ont rapidement compris que notre esprit, nos \u00e9motions et nos sentiments ont un impact significatif sur la performance, ce qui a finalement donn\u00e9 naissance au domaine de la psychologie du sport \u201d, explique Lobinger. \u00a0<br><br>Alors que les \u00c9tats-Unis, comme souvent dans le domaine scientifique, avaient plusieurs d\u00e9cennies d'avance en psychologie du sport, cette discipline \u00e9tait encore largement m\u00e9connue dans la plupart des autres pays. \u201c Lors des Jeux olympiques d'Atlanta dans les ann\u00e9es 1990, l'\u00e9quipe am\u00e9ricaine \u00e9tait accompagn\u00e9e d'une trentaine de psychologues du sport. Dans l'\u00e9quipe allemande, il n'y en avait aucun \u201d, se souvient Lobinger. \u00a0<br><br>Les pionniers de la psychologie du sport en Allemagne ont \u00e9t\u00e9, quelques ann\u00e9es plus tard, Dirk Nowitzki et J\u00fcrgen Klinsmann. Alors que la l\u00e9gende allemande du basket-ball Dirk Nowitzki consid\u00e9rait les techniques psychologiques comme tout \u00e0 fait normales au d\u00e9but des ann\u00e9es 2000, J\u00fcrgen Klinsmann a \u00e9t\u00e9 le premier entra\u00eeneur de l'\u00e9quipe nationale allemande de football \u00e0 faire appel \u00e0 un psychologue du sport lors de la Coupe du monde 2006. Gr\u00e2ce aux bases pos\u00e9es, non seulement en Allemagne mais aussi dans le monde entier, l'aspect mental de la performance a enfin trouv\u00e9 sa place dans le sport de haut niveau. Les enfants peuvent d\u00e9j\u00e0 apprendre \u00e0 ressentir un mouvement, \u00e0 g\u00e9rer leur nervosit\u00e9 et \u00e0 d\u00e9velopper leur esprit d'\u00e9quipe \u201d. Tout cela peut ensuite \u00eatre enseign\u00e9 de mani\u00e8re ludique et adapt\u00e9e \u00e0 leur \u00e2ge, par exemple \u00e0 travers le dessin ou des jeux simples. \u00a0<br><br>L'avantage de commencer t\u00f4t est que le risque de nuire est minime. \u201c \u00c0 mon avis, on ne peut pas vraiment \u2018 surentra\u00eener \u2019 psychologiquement les jeunes enfants si on le fait de mani\u00e8re ludique. Certaines m\u00e9thodes ne donneront pas de r\u00e9sultats, bien s\u00fbr, mais cela signifie simplement qu'il faut en essayer une autre. \u201d \u00a0<br><br>Si tout cela favorise le d\u00e9veloppement athl\u00e9tique, ce qui est souvent encore plus important, c'est que ces comp\u00e9tences ont leur importance dans la vie quotidienne. La psychologie du sport utilise souvent l'image d'une petite bo\u00eete \u00e0 outils, un refuge sur lequel un athl\u00e8te peut compter lorsque la situation devient stressante. Et peu importe que ces outils soient utilis\u00e9s avant un penalty d\u00e9cisif, lors d'un examen scolaire ou pendant une semaine de travail mouvement\u00e9e.
