Fue creado originalmente alrededor de 1979 por los escaladores Adam Grosowsky y Jeff Ellington en el valle de Yosemite (EE. UU.). Aunque ambos deportes son muy similares, la versi\u00f3n moderna requiere un conjunto de habilidades y t\u00e9cnicas completamente nuevo. Para dominar el slacklining se necesita: <strong>combinaci\u00f3n de equilibrio, coordinaci\u00f3n y concentraci\u00f3n<\/strong>. A diferencia de la cuerda floja o el cable est\u00e1ndar, una slackline se mantiene bajo tensi\u00f3n, pero no est\u00e1 tensa. Esto hace que sea muy din\u00e1mica y se mueva al caminar sobre ella. El \u00fanico equipo que necesitar\u00e1s es un kit adecuado para practicar slackline. La buena noticia es que los kits para principiantes son muy asequibles.
