El principio rector es bastante sencillo: el ayuno intermitente consiste en saltarse comidas a prop\u00f3sito. Su objetivo principal es <strong>cu\u00e1ndo comer, no qu\u00e9 comer<\/strong>. Es importante se\u00f1alar que el ayuno intermitente no es una soluci\u00f3n temporal, como una cura de ayuno o una limpieza con zumos, sino que b\u00e1sicamente es un <strong>cambio en la dieta<\/strong>. Hay diferentes formas de practicar el ayuno intermitente. Una variante probada y comprobada es el m\u00e9todo 16:8, que divide el d\u00eda en 16 horas sin comer y 8 horas comiendo. Cuando se trata del ayuno intermitente, los intervalos de los periodos de \u201cbanquete\u201d pueden variar, por ejemplo, entre 8, 6 o 4 horas.
