Cuando los visitantes ven nuestra producci\u00f3n, siempre se sorprenden. En PUMA trabajan entre 20 y 25 personas, desde el dise\u00f1o y el desarrollo hasta el marketing deportivo y el control de calidad. En la f\u00e1brica, otras 40 o 50 trabajan en cada l\u00ednea, desde el corte hasta la inspecci\u00f3n final. En total, m\u00e1s de 200 personas ayudan a crear una sola camiseta. Y eso sin contar los equipos de apoyo que se ocupan de la conformidad, la sostenibilidad o el reciclaje del agua: toda una red que mantiene el equilibrio entre calidad, responsabilidad y emoci\u00f3n.<\/div>\n    <\/div>\n    <div class=\"col articleText\">\n        <div ><span class=\"interviewq\">\u00bfQu\u00e9 hace que una camiseta de f\u00fatbol sea para usted algo m\u00e1s que una prenda de vestir?<\/span>Todo es cuesti\u00f3n de emoci\u00f3n. Todav\u00eda se me pone la carne de gallina cuando veo a alguien en un aeropuerto o de vacaciones con una camiseta PUMA en la que hemos trabajado. Cuando la gente aplaude, sufre y celebra algo que hemos ayudado a crear, es cuando el trabajo del producto se convierte en pasi\u00f3n.<br>Tambi\u00e9n es lo que motiva a mi equipo: los ni\u00f1os que desenvuelven una camiseta en Navidad, los aficionados que ahorran para comprar una, los clubes que expresan qui\u00e9nes son a trav\u00e9s de sus colores. Esos momentos demuestran lo que significa realmente una camiseta: identidad, orgullo y pertenencia.<\/div>\n    <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<!-- row two columns -->\n<div class=\"row rowTwoColumns spacing\">\n    <div class=\"col articleText\">\n        <div ><span class=\"interviewq\">\u00bfC\u00f3mo se equilibra el material, la tecnolog\u00eda, el dise\u00f1o y la funci\u00f3n?<br><\/span>Es esa conexi\u00f3n m\u00e1gica: todo interact\u00faa. Para los atletas, cada gramo y cada detalle son importantes: la camiseta debe sentirse como una segunda piel, evacuar el sudor y no distraer nunca. Para los aficionados, se trata de calidad y tacto: quieren textura, algo tangible, un escudo que destaque...<\/div>\n    <\/div>\n    <div class=\"col articleText\">\n        <div ><span class=\"interviewq\">\u00bfCu\u00e1nta innovaci\u00f3n hay hoy en d\u00eda en un maillot?<br><\/span>Mucho. Tenemos nuestro propio equipo de innovaci\u00f3n, que trabaja en varios deportes. Uno de los mayores avances fue nuestra camiseta de f\u00fatbol tejida, la primera de su clase. Es m\u00e1s ligera y transpirable. Tambi\u00e9n utilizamos nuevas t\u00e9cnicas de impresi\u00f3n que hacen que los colores sean m\u00e1s duraderos, y nuestro proyecto RE:FIBRE permite fabricar tejidos totalmente reciclables.<br>Un maillot moderno tarda entre dos y dos a\u00f1os y medio en desarrollarse, combinando dise\u00f1o, ingenier\u00eda y sostenibilidad.<\/div>\n    <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<!-- row two columns -->\n<div class=\"row rowTwoColumns spacing\">\n    <div class=\"col articleText\">\n        <div ><span class=\"interviewq\">\u00bfCu\u00e1l fue el mayor reto t\u00e9cnico de RE:FIBRE?<br><\/span>El proceso en s\u00ed no es el problema: el reciclado de textil a textil funciona t\u00e9cnicamente muy bien. El verdadero reto era llevarlo a escala industrial. Tuvimos que asegurarnos de que el sistema pod\u00eda ampliarse y de que se dispon\u00eda de suficientes materiales reciclables. Al principio, la contaminaci\u00f3n por poli\u00e9ster era un gran problema: cuando un maillot incluye insignias, estampados o mezclas de fibras, el proceso de reciclaje se vuelve mucho m\u00e1s complejo. Ya lo hemos resuelto en gran parte, pero conseguir suficiente materia prima ha sido un reto. Por eso queremos implicar m\u00e1s a los consumidores: ahora pueden apoyar el programa RE:FIBRE de PUMA donando prendas fabricadas con un 95% de poli\u00e9ster o m\u00e1s en los contenedores de recogida disponibles en tiendas PUMA seleccionadas. A partir de 2024, estos programas de recogida estar\u00e1n activos en Australia, China, Alemania, Francia, India, Suiza y Estados Unidos, ayud\u00e1ndonos a convertir la ropa usada en nuevos productos PUMA.\u00a0<\/div>\n    <\/div>\n    <div class=\"col articleText\">\n        <div ><span class=\"interviewq\">\u00bfCu\u00e1les son los obst\u00e1culos log\u00edsticos del reciclado textil?<br><\/span>El mayor reto es la materia prima que podemos reciclar. Se trata de encontrar suficientes textiles desechados, recortes o productos al final de su vida \u00fatil. El comercio internacional de residuos textiles est\u00e1 muy regulado; en muchos pa\u00edses, la importaci\u00f3n o exportaci\u00f3n de residuos de poli\u00e9ster est\u00e1 restringida, lo que complica la cadena de suministro. Y la trazabilidad es otro tema importante: saber exactamente de d\u00f3nde procede cada pieza de material es m\u00e1s complejo en el caso de los textiles que en el de las botellas de PET recicladas.\u00a0<\/div>\n    <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<!-- row two columns -->\n<div class=\"row rowTwoColumns spacing\">\n    <div class=\"col articleText\">\n        <div ><span class=\"interviewq\">\u00bfEn qu\u00e9 se diferencia RE:FIBRE del poli\u00e9ster reciclado de botella?<br><\/span>Qu\u00edmicamente, el material textil reciclado es absolutamente id\u00e9ntico al llamado poli\u00e9ster virgen, lo que supone un gran avance. Podemos convertir textiles viejos en fibras nuevas sin p\u00e9rdida de calidad. Eso es lo que diferencia a RE:FIBRE del poli\u00e9ster cl\u00e1sico a base de botellas, en el que el material se degrada ligeramente con cada ciclo. El objetivo es un bucle totalmente cerrado: convertir camisetas viejas en nuevas con el mismo rendimiento, la misma solidez del color y el mismo tacto.\u00a0<\/div>\n    <\/div>\n    <div class=\"col articleText\">\n        <div ><span class=\"interviewq\">\u00bfEn qu\u00e9 fase de implantaci\u00f3n se encuentra y qu\u00e9 le frena?<br><\/span>Ya estamos bastante lejos. Este a\u00f1o hemos ampliado nuestro programa RE:FIBRE, creando millones de r\u00e9plicas de camisetas de f\u00fatbol, casi todas nuestras r\u00e9plicas de camisetas de clubes y selecciones nacionales. Lo que todav\u00eda nos frena son dos factores: el coste y la disponibilidad. El reciclado de textil a textil sigue siendo m\u00e1s caro que el poli\u00e9ster a base de botellas, y el suministro de material adecuado es limitado. Estamos trabajando para ampliar el acceso a los recursos y extender el sistema a escala mundial. Pero nuestro objetivo a largo plazo es claro: cerrar el ciclo, desde la producci\u00f3n hasta el reciclado y la reutilizaci\u00f3n.\u00a0<\/div>\n    <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<!-- row two columns -->\n<div class=\"row rowTwoColumns spacing\">\n    <div class=\"col articleText\">\n        <div ><span class=\"interviewq\">\u00bfQu\u00e9 importancia tiene la sostenibilidad en todo esto?<br><\/span>Es fundamental. Ya en 2019 fijamos nuestros objetivos de sostenibilidad 10FOR25. Ahora, a medida que nos acercamos al final de 2025, muchos de estos objetivos van por buen camino o ya se han alcanzado antes de lo previsto. Pero, especialmente en el f\u00fatbol, donde millones de aficionados llevan nuestros productos, podemos tener un impacto real. Nuestro objetivo es un circuito cerrado: materiales que puedan reutilizarse y reciclarse por completo.\u00a0<\/div>\n    <\/div>\n    <div class=\"col articleText\">\n        <div ><span class=\"interviewq\">\u00bfTambi\u00e9n explora fibras alternativas?<br><\/span>Por supuesto. Estamos probando muchas opciones: fibras naturales, residuos textiles, nuevas mezclas. La clave es que el impacto ecol\u00f3gico sea realmente positivo. Algunos materiales suenan muy bien, pero consumen demasiada energ\u00eda o agua. En esos casos, tenemos que ser sinceros y decir que no. Siempre lo evaluamos junto con nuestro equipo de sostenibilidad.\u00a0<\/div>\n    <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<!-- row text single -->\n<div class=\"gradientnone\">\n<div class=\"row rowSingleColumnWide spacing\">\n    <div class=\"col articleText\">\n        <div class=\"textStyle_default\" ><span class=\"interviewq\">\u00bfQu\u00e9 le motiva personalmente?<br><\/span>Para m\u00ed, el reciclaje textil lo es todo. Cuando est\u00e1s en la f\u00e1brica cada semana y ves la cantidad de productos estupendos que producimos, al mismo tiempo quieres minimizar el impacto. Por eso RE:FIBRE es m\u00e1s que un proyecto: es un compromiso. Nos ocupamos de nuestros propios residuos y los convertimos en algo nuevo.<br>Y sabemos que no podemos hacerlo solos. No podemos cambiar el sector nosotros solos. Tenemos que colaborar: con los fabricantes, con otras marcas, incluso fuera del deporte. No se trata de competir, sino de responsabilidad. Cuando te sientas a la mesa con gente de otros sectores y te das cuenta de que todos persiguen el mismo objetivo, deja de tratarse s\u00f3lo de la cuota de mercado. Se trata de hacer lo correcto. We\\u0026rsquo;ve largely solved that now, but sourcing enough feedstock has been a challenge. That\\u0026rsquo;s why we want to involve consumers more \\u0026ndash; they can now support PUMA\\u0026rsquo;s RE:FIBRE programme by donating garments made of 95 percent polyester or more at take-back bins available in select PUMA stores. The international trade in textile waste is highly regulated; in many countries, importing or exporting polyester waste is restricted, which complicates the supply chain.
