Pero mantener la (supuesta) calma no consiste en evitar el estr\u00e9s o el malestar. Se trata de cultivar una especie de firmeza interior inquebrantable que surge de aprender a afrontar los retos de la vida con claridad y fortaleza. Ah\u00ed es donde entra en juego la resiliencia emocional.<\/span><\/div>\n   <\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<!-- row text single -->\n<div class=\"gradientnone\">\n<div class=\"row rowSingleColumnWide spacing\">\n    <div class=\"col articleText\">\n        <div class=\"textStyle_2b firstLetter\" ><strong>C<\/strong>ontrariamente a \u201caguantar\u201d, la resiliencia no consiste en reprimir las emociones o sobreponerse a la adversidad. Y, desde luego, no consiste en mostrarse duro o fingir que todo va bien. Las personas resilientes entienden que el sufrimiento forma parte de la vida. Y entienden que lo importante es c\u00f3mo se afrontan las dificultades. La resiliencia consiste en desarrollar la fuerza interior para adaptarse, recuperarse y seguir adelante, incluso cuando las cosas se ponen dif\u00edciles. Es una habilidad que cualquiera puede desarrollar y que resulta esencial para afrontar los avatares de la existencia humana.<\/div>\n   <\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<!-- row text single -->\n<div class=\"gradientnone\">\n<div class=\"row rowSingleColumnWide spacing\">\n    <div class=\"col articleText\">\n        <div class=\"textStyle_2b\" ><strong>Con motivo del Mes de Concienciaci\u00f3n sobre la Salud Mental, destacamos el valor de la resiliencia emocional.<\/strong> - c\u00f3mo construirla, practicarla y utilizarla para prosperar.<\/div>\n   <\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<!-- row text single -->\n<div class=\"gradientnone\">\n<div class=\"row rowSingleColumnWide spacing\">\n    <div class=\"col articleText\">\n        <div class=\"textStyle_2b\" ><h2>Reformular la resiliencia: Una habilidad, no un rasgo<\/h2>Mucha gente asume que la resiliencia es un rasgo de la personalidad, es decir, que se tiene o no se tiene. Sin embargo, d\u00e9cadas de investigaci\u00f3n psicol\u00f3gica demuestran que la resiliencia se entiende mejor como un conjunto de habilidades. Al igual que la forma f\u00edsica, puede desarrollarse con la pr\u00e1ctica constante.\u00a0<br><br>Este cambio de mentalidad es importante. Significa que la resiliencia no es fija y que es un conjunto de comportamientos, pensamientos y acciones que pueden aprenderse, desarrollarse y fortalecerse con el tiempo. Cuando reformulamos nuestra comprensi\u00f3n de la resiliencia de esta manera, se hace accesible a todos, no s\u00f3lo a los que parecen \u201cfuertes\u201d desde fuera.<\/div>\n   <\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<!-- row text single -->\n<div class=\"gradientnone\">\n<div class=\"row rowSingleColumnWide spacing\">\n    <div class=\"col articleText\">\n        <div class=\"textStyle_2b\" ><h2>\u00bfQu\u00e9 es realmente la resiliencia?<\/h2>\u00bfQu\u00e9 significa tener resiliencia emocional?  En esencia, la resiliencia es la capacidad de responder y recuperarse de la adversidad (es decir, del estr\u00e9s, los contratiempos y las dificultades emocionales). No se trata de evitar las dificultades o de eliminar por completo el \u201csentirse mal\u201d, sino de afrontar las situaciones dif\u00edciles con conciencia y flexibilidad.<br><br><strong>En otras palabras, la resiliencia es la capacidad de doblarse sin romperse.<\/strong><br><br>Cuando las personas tienen resiliencia emocional, no eluden las emociones dif\u00edciles... las afrontan, las procesan y siguen adelante. Tambi\u00e9n es m\u00e1s probable que busquen ayuda, se mantengan conectadas y recurran a recursos (tanto internos como externos) cuando m\u00e1s lo necesitan.<\/div>\n   <\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<!-- row text single -->\n<div class=\"gradientnone\">\n<div class=\"row rowSingleColumnWide spacing\">\n    <div class=\"col articleText\">\n        <div class=\"textStyle_2b\" ><h2>Pilares de la resiliencia emocional<\/h2>Desarrollar la resiliencia emocional no se consigue de la noche a la ma\u00f1ana. Para entrenar esta habilidad, ayuda desglosarla en algunos de sus elementos b\u00e1sicos. Estos son algunos de los pilares que forman la base del bienestar emocional y que pueden cultivarse mediante la pr\u00e1ctica regular:\u00a0<br><h3><strong>1. Autoconciencia<\/strong><\/h3>Comprender tus emociones, desencadenantes y patrones es el primer paso para desarrollar resiliencia. Ser capaz de identificar con precisi\u00f3n tus sentimientos te permite responder a las situaciones externas en lugar de reaccionar ante ellas. Esta conciencia es el punto de partida para gestionar las emociones y tomar decisiones claras.<br><h3><strong>2. Reglamento<\/strong><\/h3>Una vez que empieces a ser m\u00e1s consciente de tus emociones, gestionarlas ser\u00e1 posible. Pero recuerda: no se trata de reprimir las emociones ni de ignorarlas. Se trata de crear un espacio para hacer una pausa, reflexionar y responder con intenci\u00f3n, en lugar de dejarse llevar por el momento.<br><h3><strong>3. Conexi\u00f3n<\/strong><\/h3>El apoyo social es uno de los factores que mejor predicen la resiliencia emocional. Ya sea a trav\u00e9s de la familia, los amigos, los compa\u00f1eros o los grupos de apoyo, mantenerse conectado ayuda a amortiguar el estr\u00e9s y refuerza el sentimiento de pertenencia. Con esto no pretendo presionarte para que tengas un grupo de amigos pr\u00f3spero, sino recordarte que si tu primer impulso es aislarte cuando atraviesas un momento dif\u00edcil, tal vez sea mejor que busques ayuda.<br><br><h3><strong>4. Mentalidad<\/strong><\/h3>Cultivar la resiliencia puede beneficiarse de la comprensi\u00f3n de c\u00f3mo nuestra mentalidad afecta a nuestra capacidad para superar los retos. Las personas resilientes entienden que el sufrimiento forma parte de la vida. Una mentalidad resiliente no consiste en ser siempre positivo o forzadamente optimista, sino en ser abierto. Cuando afrontamos los retos con curiosidad en lugar de juzgarlos, nos damos margen para crecer. Este tipo de flexibilidad mental nos ayuda a adaptarnos, a ajustar nuestras expectativas y a superar las dificultades con elegancia.<br><br><h3><strong>5. Creaci\u00f3n de sentido<ol start=\"5\"><\/ol><\/strong><\/h3>La resiliencia no nace de sentirse siempre esperanzado, sino de encontrar un sentido a las cosas, incluso en medio de las dificultades. Para algunos, eso puede significar conectar con los valores personales, ayudar a los dem\u00e1s o simplemente centrarse en el siguiente peque\u00f1o paso. Aunque el optimismo puede ser un apoyo, no pasa nada si no resulta f\u00e1cil. Lo m\u00e1s importante es permanecer conectado a algo que d\u00e9 a tu experiencia un sentido de direcci\u00f3n o prop\u00f3sito, aunque s\u00f3lo sea superar un d\u00eda a la vez.<\/div>\n   <\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<!-- row text single -->\n<div class=\"gradientnone\">\n<div class=\"row rowSingleColumnWide spacing\">\n    <div class=\"col articleText\">\n        <div class=\"textStyle_2b\" ><span class=\"textStyle_intro\"><h2>Pr\u00e1cticas que refuerzan la resiliencia a lo largo del tiempo<\/h2><\/span>No es necesario que modifique su rutina para empezar a desarrollar resiliencia. Las acciones peque\u00f1as y constantes suelen marcar la diferencia con el paso del tiempo:<br><ul><br><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><strong><b>Prueba un ejercicio de respiraci\u00f3n.<\/b><\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Inhala profundamente por la nariz durante cuatro cuentas, mant\u00e9n la respiraci\u00f3n durante cuatro, exhala durante cuatro y haz una pausa. Repite unos cuantos ciclos para calmar el cuerpo y despejar la mente. Acost\u00fambrate a apoyarte en esta sencilla respiraci\u00f3n y, en los momentos en que se produzcan fuertes oleadas emocionales, puedes recurrir a esta herramienta.<\/span><\/li><br><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><strong><b>Escr\u00edbelo.<\/b><\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Escribir un diario puede ayudarte a procesar emociones, reconocer patrones y aclarar situaciones complejas. Tambi\u00e9n ayuda a tomar conciencia de uno mismo.<\/span><\/li><br><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><strong><b>Haz peque\u00f1as pausas.<\/b><\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Un paseo de cinco minutos o un momento lejos de la pantalla ayuda a restablecer la concentraci\u00f3n y reducir la tensi\u00f3n. Adem\u00e1s, cuando te sientas provocado o te hayan apretado las tuercas, una breve pausa de 5 minutos puede ayudarte. <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">pausa <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">puede llegar muy lejos.<\/span><\/li><br><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><strong><b>Compru\u00e9belo usted mismo.<\/b><\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Los momentos de reflexi\u00f3n r\u00e1pida y peri\u00f3dica fomentan la comprensi\u00f3n emocional y la autocompasi\u00f3n. Prueba a preguntarte c\u00f3mo te sientes y qu\u00e9 necesitas en ese momento a lo largo del d\u00eda.<\/span><\/li><\/ul><br>Estas herramientas pueden parecer sencillas, pero, cuando se utilizan con regularidad, ayudan a crear una base m\u00e1s resistente para la vida diaria.<\/div>\n   <\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<!-- row text single -->\n<div class=\"gradientnone\">\n<div class=\"row rowSingleColumnWide spacing\">\n    <div class=\"col articleText\">\n        <div class=\"textStyle_2b\" ><span class=\"textStyle_intro\"><h2>Los pr\u00f3ximos pasos<\/h2><\/span><strong>A medida que avanzamos en el Mes de Concienciaci\u00f3n sobre la Salud Mental, t\u00f3mese un momento para hacer una pausa y reflexionar:<\/strong><br><ul><br><\/ul><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><li class=\"textStyle_listItem\">Ante los retos, \u00bfc\u00f3mo suele responder?<\/li><\/span><br><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><li class=\"textStyle_listItem\">\u00bfQu\u00e9 le ayuda a sentirse estable o respaldado?<\/li><\/span><br><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><li class=\"textStyle_listItem\">\u00bfExisten formas de cultivar la resiliencia emocional? \u00bfExisten peque\u00f1as acciones que puedas llevar a cabo para reforzar tu resiliencia?<\/li><\/span><br><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><li class=\"textStyle_listItem\">\u00bfA qu\u00e9 personas de tu red puedes recurrir para que te conecten y te apoyen?<\/li><\/span><br><br><strong>La salud mental no es una b\u00fasqueda en solitario<\/strong>. Al aprender a desarrollar la resiliencia emocional, no s\u00f3lo nos ayudamos a nosotros mismos, sino que tambi\u00e9n contribuimos a crear un entorno m\u00e1s compasivo y conectado para todas las personas con las que interactuamos.<strong> <\/strong><br><br><strong>Y lo m\u00e1s importante: \u00a1s\u00e9 amable contigo mismo!
