Contribuye al cambio de actitudes y nos anima a ser m\u00e1s compasivos con las enfermedades mentales, tanto con los dem\u00e1s como con nosotros mismos.<\/span>\n<\/div>\n   <\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<!-- row text single -->\n<div class=\"gradientnone\">\n<div class=\"row rowSingleColumnWide spacing\">\n    <div class=\"col articleText\">\n        <div class=\"textStyle_2b\" ><span class=\"textStyle_intro\">Entonces, \u00bfa qu\u00e9 nos referimos cuando hablamos de Salud Mental?<\/span>\n<br\/>\u00a0<br\/>\n<br\/>La salud es uno de los aspectos m\u00e1s importantes de la vida, pero en el pasado nuestra salud mental era algo que a menudo se pasaba por alto y se comprend\u00eda mal. <strong>Por suerte, el debate y la concienciaci\u00f3n en torno a la salud mental y el bienestar psicol\u00f3gico siguen ampli\u00e1ndose.\u00a0<\/strong><br\/>\n<br\/><i>La salud mental abarca su bienestar emocional, social y psicol\u00f3gico y afecta a su forma de pensar, sentir y comportarse, influyendo en su manera de manejar el estr\u00e9s y tomar decisiones.\u00a0<\/i><br\/>\n<br\/>Hay muchos factores que pueden aumentar el riesgo de desarrollar un trastorno psicol\u00f3gico, como los malos tratos, el entorno, la gen\u00e9tica, el estilo de vida y los acontecimientos traum\u00e1ticos.<strong> Es importante ser capaz de evaluar el propio estado mental y reconocer los signos de deterioro o empeoramiento de la salud mental.<\/strong> Entre los indicadores m\u00e1s comunes se encuentran la tristeza persistente, los cambios en los patrones de sue\u00f1o, la p\u00e9rdida de inter\u00e9s por cosas que normalmente le hacen sentirse emocionado o feliz, la ansiedad o el miedo excesivos, los cambios de humor repentinos (y graves), los cambios en los h\u00e1bitos alimentarios, un cambio notable en los niveles de energ\u00eda, la sensaci\u00f3n de desesperaci\u00f3n o desesperanza persistentes, pensar en autolesionarse o ser incapaz de realizar las tareas cotidianas.<br\/>\n<br\/><strong>Al igual que tu bienestar f\u00edsico, tu bienestar mental no es est\u00e1tico; es un continuo que fluct\u00faa.<\/strong> Y tampoco es la ausencia de trastornos mentales, tal como los define la Organizaci\u00f3n Mundial de la Salud, sino un estado de bienestar en el que se puede hacer frente con suficiencia a las tensiones de la vida.<br\/>\n<\/div>\n   <\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<!-- row text single -->\n<div class=\"gradientnone\">\n<div class=\"row rowSingleColumnWide spacing\">\n    <div class=\"col articleText\">\n        <div class=\"textStyle_2b\" ><strong class=\"textStyle_description\">C\u00f3mo mantener la salud mental<\/strong>\n<br\/>\u00a0<br\/>\n<br\/>Como cualquier otro aspecto de su salud, su bienestar mental es algo que requiere atenci\u00f3n y cuidados diarios. Alimenta la idea de \u2018no estar bien\u2019 o de no ser \u2018normal\u2019 si uno tiene problemas de salud mental. <strong>Por eso es tan importante cuestionar y desmantelar estos conceptos \u2500 tanto internamente, dentro de nosotros mismos, como externamente, como cultura.\u00a0<\/strong><br\/>\n<br\/>En \u00faltima instancia, la educaci\u00f3n, el di\u00e1logo abierto y la concienciaci\u00f3n en torno a la salud mental (exactamente de lo que trata este mes) es una forma estupenda de normalizar las conversaciones en torno a la salud mental y fomentar la empat\u00eda y el apoyo. <strong>Buscar ayuda es una se\u00f1al de fortaleza, no de debilidad.<\/strong><br\/>\n<\/div>\n   <\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<!-- row text single -->\n<div class=\"gradientnone\">\n<div class=\"row rowSingleColumnWide spacing\">\n    <div class=\"col articleText\">\n        <div class=\"textStyle_2b\" ><span class=\"textStyle_intro\">Curas por compasi\u00f3n<\/span>\n<br\/>\u00a0<br\/>\n<br\/>Todos experimentamos un amplio espectro de estados de \u00e1nimo y emociones. Es una cifra\nenorme. Y aunque la medicaci\u00f3n y el apoyo psicol\u00f3gico desempe\u00f1an su papel en la mejora de la salud mental, los estudios han demostrado que mantenerse f\u00edsicamente activo puede tener un impacto significativamente positivo. El ejercicio aer\u00f3bico regular, como caminar, correr o nadar, ayuda a calmar el sistema nervioso al reducir la respuesta de \u201clucha o huida\u201d, habitual en las personas estresadas.\nSe ha descubierto que el ejercicio aer\u00f3bico tambi\u00e9n ayuda a las personas con TDAH (Trastorno por D\u00e9ficit de Atenci\u00f3n) al aumentar la energ\u00eda y reducir la fatiga, la sensaci\u00f3n de confusi\u00f3n y la depresi\u00f3n. Los movimientos meditativos, como el yoga o el tai chi, son \u00fatiles para mejorar la salud mental, ya que cambian la postura y se centran en la respiraci\u00f3n, las sensaciones corporales y la posici\u00f3n en el espacio, todo lo cual produce cambios positivos en el cerebro. El ejercicio regular, como el ciclismo o el entrenamiento aer\u00f3bico, de fuerza, flexibilidad y equilibrio, tambi\u00e9n puede reducir los sentimientos negativos asociados a la depresi\u00f3n.
