Creo que ese es el objetivo principal. Tambi\u00e9n me gustar\u00eda mejorar mis tiempos en 100 y 200 metros y, por supuesto, mi distancia a largo plazo. Sobre todo quiero ser un poco mejor de lo que he sido nunca.<br\/>\n<br\/><strong><em>\u00bfC\u00f3mo se est\u00e1 preparando para los Campeonatos del Mundo de este a\u00f1o en Par\u00eds?<\/em><\/strong><br\/>\n<br\/>Marlene: Bueno, es una temporada bastante corta porque los Campeonatos del Mundo son en julio, as\u00ed que tenemos poco tiempo para prepararnos. Ahora estoy en mi entrenamiento de invierno, as\u00ed que estoy haciendo todo el entrenamiento duro ahora. Luego ir\u00e9 a Creta a un campo de entrenamiento durante dos semanas y despu\u00e9s tenemos cuatro semanas de carreras, como un mont\u00f3n de carreras, y luego, si va bien, lo har\u00e9 y luego son tres semanas de entrenamiento muy duro. Creo que mis mayores posibilidades est\u00e1n en los 200 metros. Pero tambi\u00e9n tengo buenas posibilidades en los 100 dependiendo de c\u00f3mo vaya mi temporada, porque una de mis compa\u00f1eras de equipo es la m\u00e1s r\u00e1pida ahora mismo. Pero no pienso seguir as\u00ed. As\u00ed que ya veremos lo cerca que puedo estar de ella y entonces lo sabremos. Pero mis mayores posibilidades est\u00e1n en los 200 metros.<br\/>\n<br\/><strong><em>\u00bfC\u00f3mo es un d\u00eda normal para usted?<\/em><\/strong><br\/>\n<br\/>Marlene: Bueno, la mayor\u00eda de los d\u00edas estoy entrenando. Por suerte, s\u00f3lo entrenamos a las diez, as\u00ed que me levanto sobre las ocho. Primero me hago el desayuno y me relajo, luego me preparo y despu\u00e9s voy poco a poco en bici a mi entrenamiento. Entreno dos horas y media, tres horas. Luego suelo comer y, dependiendo de la tarde, a veces voy a estudiar y a veces hago un segundo entrenamiento. Realmente depende. Y despu\u00e9s me voy a casa, me ducho, me relajo y trabajo un poco, contestando correos o estudiando. Mis medallas paral\u00edmpicas tienen su propia caja. Mis medallas de oro est\u00e1n arriba, y debajo est\u00e1n mis dos medallas de bronce. Y debajo est\u00e1n mis medallas mundiales, por pares. Y mis medallas europeas est\u00e1n por triplicado. As\u00ed que puedo verlas todos los d\u00edas. Esa es mi motivaci\u00f3n.<br\/>\n<br\/>Es una motivaci\u00f3n para seguir haciendo lo que me gusta. Pero tambi\u00e9n es una motivaci\u00f3n por lo que ya he conseguido. Me confirma que estoy haciendo lo correcto y que soy un buen atleta. Es bonito ver lo que he conseguido.<br\/>\n<br\/><strong><em>\u00bfTiene un modelo a seguir?<\/em><\/strong><br\/>\n<br\/>Marlene: En realidad no una persona. Mi lema es que todo el mundo es un modelo a seguir a su manera. As\u00ed que no tengo una persona en particular, pero creo que puedo aprender e inspirarme en todo el mundo. No tengo un modelo a seguir, porque todos son mi modelo a seguir.<br\/>\n<\/div>\n    <\/div>\n    <div class=\"col articleText\">\n        <div ><br\/><strong><em>\u00bfC\u00f3mo afronta los d\u00edas malos?<\/em><\/strong><br\/>\n<br\/>Marlene: Tienes d\u00edas buenos y d\u00edas malos, as\u00ed es la vida. Y superar\u00e1s los d\u00edas malos. Con los d\u00edas malos, debes recordar que el tiempo pasar\u00e1. As\u00ed que aguanta. Rel\u00e1jate, ya sabes, no pasa nada. Pero tambi\u00e9n en los d\u00edas malos, da un peque\u00f1o paso atr\u00e1s. Por supuesto, tienes batallas f\u00edsicas y d\u00edas malos mentales. Y en los d\u00edas malos f\u00edsicamente, tienes que pensar, vale, \u00bfnecesito recortar un poco mi entrenamiento para no lesionarme, porque no lesionarse sigue siendo lo m\u00e1s importante? Pero en los d\u00edas mentales creo que entrenar me ayuda porque, aunque no me apetezca, ir a entrenar siempre me hace feliz. Tengo un entrenador muy bueno con el que puedo hablar. Tengo un novio con el que puedo hablar. Creo que si hablo de mis sentimientos y de lo que me pasa en esos d\u00edas malos, siempre lo supero muy bien. Los d\u00edas malos siempre pasan, no es para siempre que te sientas mal. S\u00f3lo hay que sentarse.<br\/>\n<br\/><strong><em>\u00bfQui\u00e9nes son sus mayores partidarios?<\/em><\/strong><br\/>\n<br\/>Marlene: Bueno, tengo algunos grandes partidarios. Por supuesto, mi madre y mi padre. Me apoyan a su manera. Mi padre se mata buscando en Google cosas sobre m\u00ed, es muy divertido. Me env\u00eda muchos enlaces, es un poco molesto, pero es su forma de decirme que me quiere. Mi novio tambi\u00e9n es uno de mis mayores apoyos, tiene que lidiar conmigo todos los d\u00edas. Por supuesto, lo compruebo todo. Compruebo mis cuchillas, todos los tornillos y los clavos. Una cosa que siempre hago es beberme un Red Bull 45-50 minutos antes de mi carrera. Si te bebes un Red Bull, que tiene mucho az\u00facar y cafe\u00edna, te excita, pero tambi\u00e9n te puede provocar un baj\u00f3n. En salto de longitud, una competici\u00f3n puede durar una hora, as\u00ed que no quieres tener ese baj\u00f3n, y por eso no lo tomo en salto de longitud, sino s\u00f3lo en las pruebas de velocidad, porque son como mucho de 26 segundos. Me he dado cuenta de que me caigo entre una hora y media y una hora y 45 minutos despu\u00e9s. Now, I\u2019m in my winter training, so I\u2019m doing all the hard training now. Then I will go to Crete for a training camp for two weeks and after that we have four weeks of races, like a lot of races, and then, if it goes well, I will and then it\u2019s three weeks of very hard training. And then it\u2019s the championships already! So, it\u2019s really short but very intense. I think my biggest chances are in the 200m. But I also have good chances on the 100 depending on how my season will go because one of my teammates is the fastest right now. But I\u2019m not planning to keep it that way! So we\u2019ll see how close I can get to her and then we\u2019ll find out. And on physical bad days, you have to think about, okay, do I need to like cut a bit on my training so I don\u2019t get injured because injured staying injury free is still the most important part. But on mental days I think training actually helps because even if I don\u2019t feel like it, going to training always makes me happy. I have a very good coach, who I can talk to. I have a boyfriend which I can talk to. I think if I just talk about my feelings and about what\u2019s going on in those bad days, I always get through very well. Bad days always go by, it\u2019s not forever that you feel bad. Of course, I check everything. So, I check my blades, I get all the bolts and I check my spikes. One thing I always do is drink a Red Bull 45-50 minutes before my race. It is a very specific time! It takes some time for the sugar and caffeine to get into your system. And I found my sweet spot is around 45-50 minutes.\\u0026lt;br\/\\u0026gt;\\n\\u0026lt;br\/\\u0026gt;I only drink Red Bull for the sprint events. If you drink a Red Bull, which has a lot of sugar and caffeine, it hypes you up, but it can also make you crash. In long jump, a competition can take an hour so you don\u2019t want that crash and that\u2019s why I don\u2019t do it for long jump but only for the sprint events because they\u2019re like 26 seconds at best. I noticed I crash from it about one and a half to one hour and 45 minutes later. I think that is the main goal. I would also want to better my times on 100m and 200m and of course my distance in the long term. Now, I\u2019m in my winter training, so I\u2019m doing all the hard training now. Then I will go to Crete for a training camp for two weeks and after that we have four weeks of races, like a lot of races, and then, if it goes well, I will and then it\u2019s three weeks of very hard training. And then it\u2019s the championships already! So, it\u2019s really short but very intense. I think my biggest chances are in the 200m. But I also have good chances on the 100 depending on how my season will go because one of my teammates is the fastest right now. But I\u2019m not planning to keep it that way! So we\u2019ll see how close I can get to her and then we\u2019ll find out. Luckily, we only have training at ten, so I get up around eight. I first make myself breakfast and chill, then I get myself ready and then slowly bike to my training. I train for two and a half, three hours. Then we often have lunch and depending on the afternoon, sometimes I go study and sometimes I do a second training. It really depends. And after that I just go home, shower and relax and do some work, answering emails or studying. And then my European medals are in like triples. So, I can see them everyday. And on physical bad days, you have to think about, okay, do I need to like cut a bit on my training so I don\u2019t get injured because injured staying injury free is still the most important part. But on mental days I think training actually helps because even if I don\u2019t feel like it, going to training always makes me happy. I have a very good coach, who I can talk to. I have a boyfriend which I can talk to. I think if I just talk about my feelings and about what\u2019s going on in those bad days, I always get through very well. Bad days always go by, it\u2019s not forever that you feel bad. Of course, I check everything. So, I check my blades, I get all the bolts and I check my spikes. One thing I always do is drink a Red Bull 45-50 minutes before my race. It is a very specific time! It takes some time for the sugar and caffeine to get into your system. And I found my sweet spot is around 45-50 minutes.\\u0026lt;br\/\\u0026gt;\\n\\u0026lt;br\/\\u0026gt;I only drink Red Bull for the sprint events. If you drink a Red Bull, which has a lot of sugar and caffeine, it hypes you up, but it can also make you crash. In long jump, a competition can take an hour so you don\u2019t want that crash and that\u2019s why I don\u2019t do it for long jump but only for the sprint events because they\u2019re like 26 seconds at best. I noticed I crash from it about one and a half to one hour and 45 minutes later.
