Senegal decidi\u00f3 la final de la Copa Africana de Naciones, disputada \u00edntegramente por equipos de la PUMA, en una emocionante tanda de penaltis contra Egipto el domingo por la noche, ganando por primera vez el trofeo m\u00e1s importante del f\u00fatbol africano.<\/span>\nPara PUMA ha sido un gran evento. Ninguna otra empresa deportiva ha patrocinado a m\u00e1s equipos durante la Copa Africana de Naciones que nosotros, con Senegal, Ghana, Costa de Marfil, Marruecos y Egipto luciendo el felino saltar\u00edn en sus camisetas.\nSenegal sali\u00f3 al ataque desde el principio. A los cuatro minutos, ya le hab\u00edan pitado un penalti, pero no consigui\u00f3 adelantarse en el marcador gracias a una magn\u00edfica parada del portero egipcio. Sigui\u00f3 siendo el equipo m\u00e1s ofensivo durante todo el partido, pero la defensa de Egipto se mantuvo firme y los Leones de Teranga no lograron dar el \u00faltimo toque para marcar un gol. Con el marcador a\u00fan 0-0 tras 120 minutos, el partido se decidi\u00f3 en los penaltis, que Senegal gan\u00f3 por 4-2.\nTras un comienzo lento en la fase de grupos, Senegal avanz\u00f3 con fuerza en las eliminatorias de la Copa Africana de Naciones de este a\u00f1o, derrotando a Cabo Verde, Guinea Ecuatorial y Burkina Faso para llegar a la final del domingo.
