Geburtstag bekam ich eine N\u00e4hmaschine<\/strong> und beschloss, mit der Gestaltung meiner eigenen St\u00fccke zu experimentieren. Da ich bereits mit Thrifting vertraut war, <strong>Upcycling schien ein nat\u00fcrlicher Schritt zu sein<\/strong> und der Einstieg ist einfacher, weil man keine kompletten Kleidungsst\u00fccke anfertigen muss. Man kann einfach eine Jeans nehmen, sie aufschneiden, mit Flicken versehen und sie zusammenn\u00e4hen.<br\/>\n<br\/><strong>Wie sind Sie zum N\u00e4hen gekommen?<\/strong><br\/>\n<br\/>Adrew:<strong> Ich bin \u00fcber die sozialen Medien zum N\u00e4hen gekommen.<\/strong>, Ich folgte Accounts wie Imran Potato, die mich wirklich inspirierten. Was mir anfangs auffiel, waren ihre Bootleg-Designerst\u00fccke - Babypuppen mit Gucci-Aufdrucken und Hosen mit einzigartigen Streifen. Ich dachte mir also, <strong>Das ist wirklich cool, ich m\u00f6chte es selbst ausprobieren.<\/strong> Ich habe ein bisschen damit herumgespielt, aber erst mit 19 Jahren habe ich konsequent mit dem Upcycling begonnen.<br\/>\n<br\/>\n<br\/><\/div>\n    <\/div>\n    <div class=\"col articleText\">\n        <div ><br\/><strong>Wie sieht ein typischer Tag bei Ihnen aus?<\/strong><br\/>\n<br\/>Andrew: Ich wache normalerweise gegen acht Uhr auf, <strong>E-Mails pr\u00fcfen<\/strong> - viele von euch in diesen Tagen \ud83d\ude09 und <strong>meinen Arbeitsbereich aufr\u00e4umen<\/strong> vor <strong>ins Fitnessstudio gehen<\/strong>. In den letzten sieben Monaten habe ich mit meiner Freundin Paige einen Gesundheitskick gemacht. Ein gro\u00dfer Teil meiner Karriere besteht aus Inhalt, also wenn ich zur\u00fcckkomme <strong>Ich tauche in die Erstellung von Inhalten ein<\/strong> und die Bearbeitung von Videos. Wenn ich keine konkreten Projekte habe, an denen ich arbeiten kann, <strong>Ich n\u00e4he Quilt-Hoodies f\u00fcr meine Marke VIVID VISIONS<\/strong>. Das sind meine Hauptprodukte, die ich schnell herstellen kann, weil ich inzwischen wahrscheinlich Tausende davon gemacht habe. Ich bin st\u00e4ndig <strong>Brainstorming und Plotten<\/strong> den n\u00e4chsten Schritt meiner Marke und die Arbeit an<strong> Aufbau einer starken Markenidentit\u00e4t<\/strong>. Es geht nicht nur darum, einzigartige Upcycling-St\u00fccke herzustellen. Ich m\u00f6chte eine koh\u00e4rente Markengeschichte entwickeln, und mein derzeitiger Schwerpunkt ist die Skalierung.<br\/>\n<br\/><strong>Und wie passt Ihr Engagement in der Puma-Initiative Voice of a Re:Generation zu Ihrem pers\u00f6nlichen Weg und Ihren bisherigen Werten?<\/strong><br\/>\n<br\/>Andreas:\u00a0<strong>Nachhaltigkeit ist der Kern meiner pers\u00f6nlichen Marke<\/strong>. Im Laufe meiner Karriere in der Erstellung von Videoinhalten habe ich mit verschiedenen Marken an Nachhaltigkeitsprojekten zusammengearbeitet, von Levi's und Dickies bis hin zu unerwarteten, nicht modebezogenen Projekten wie Sprite und Honda. Die Stimmen eines RE:GENERATION-Projekts mit PUMA sind f\u00fcr mich ein <strong>einzigartige langfristige Chance<\/strong> das gibt mir <strong>Einblicke in die Nachhaltigkeit auf globaler, unternehmerischer Ebene<\/strong> in der Modeindustrie. Was haben Sie dort \u00fcber PUMAs RE:FIBRE-Programm erfahren?<\/strong><br\/>\n<br\/>Andrew: Es hat mir wirklich die Augen ge\u00f6ffnet f\u00fcr <strong>das enorme Ausma\u00df an Forschung und Technologie<\/strong> die an RE:FIBRE und nachhaltiger Mode beteiligt sind. Es geht nicht nur darum, Kleidung zu n\u00e4hen, sondern es gibt ganze Labore, die an allem arbeiten, von der Herstellung von Fasern bis zum Abbau und der Entfernung von Farben durch chemische Prozesse. <strong>Nachhaltige Mode zu produzieren, ist mehr als nur das Zusammenstellen von Teilen, es ist eine ganze Reise.<\/strong><br\/>\n<br\/><strong>Was war der denkw\u00fcrdigste Teil Ihres Besuchs in den RE:FIBRE-Fabriken? K\u00f6nnen Sie einen Moment schildern, der Ihre Ansichten \u00fcber Nachhaltigkeit wesentlich beeinflusst oder Ihre Perspektive ver\u00e4ndert hat? <\/strong><br\/>\n<br\/>Andrew: Ein herausragender Moment w\u00e4hrend des Projekts war <strong>zu sehen, wie der Stoff zum Leben erweckt wird - zu sehen, wie meine Entw\u00fcrfe gedruckt und sublimiert werden, war ein wirklich stolzer Moment und ein unvergessliches Erlebnis<\/strong>. Zu sehen, wie der Stoff mit 50 F\u00e4den in Maschinen zusammengestrickt wird, die selbst mit Ohrst\u00f6pseln einen ohrenbet\u00e4ubenden L\u00e4rm erzeugen, war auch ziemlich verr\u00fcckt. Was meine Perspektive ver\u00e4nderte und was wir oft vergessen, wenn wir \u00fcber Nachhaltigkeit sprechen, ist, dass<strong> Es geht nicht nur um nachhaltige Produkte, sondern auch um die Menschen, die in den Fabriken arbeiten.<\/strong> Vor Ort sprachen wir \u00fcber Arbeitsbedingungen und L\u00f6hne, und zun\u00e4chst war ich \u00fcber das Lohnniveau \u00fcberrascht, aber ein Mann erz\u00e4hlte, wie sehr sich sein Lebensstil durch die Nachhaltigkeitsma\u00dfnahmen verbessert hat. Soziale Medien sind wichtig, um die Jugend zu erreichen, aber die Aufmerksamkeitsspanne ist sehr kurz. Wir verstehen also die Notwendigkeit, die <strong>Nachhaltigkeit cool und ansprechend machen<\/strong>, und die Vermeidung von langweiligen und langatmigen Inhalten ist der richtige Weg. Ich bin nat\u00fcrlich voreingenommen, aber ich denke, ein gro\u00dfartiges Beispiel daf\u00fcr ist die Re:HACKS-Serie, an der ich mit PUMA gearbeitet habe. Social-Content-Serien wie diese oder der PUMA RE:GEN-Berichte-Podcast machen eine riesige Menge an Informationen viel leichter verdaulich. Es ist <strong>immer noch eine Herausforderung<\/strong> um die Menschen f\u00fcr Nachhaltigkeit zu begeistern, aber ich denke <strong>wir sind auf dem richtigen Weg.<\/strong><br\/>\n<br\/><strong>Wie k\u00f6nnen Influencer wie Sie dazu beitragen, mehr Transparenz in der Modeindustrie zu schaffen?<\/strong><br\/>\n<br\/>Andrew: Es ist schwierig, weil es in der Modewelt auf beiden Seiten Beeinflusser gibt - diejenigen, die f\u00fcr Nachhaltigkeit eintreten, und andere, die Fast Fashion f\u00f6rdern. <strong>W\u00e4hrend sich die Industrie allgemein mehr in Richtung Nachhaltigkeit bewegt,<\/strong> globale Kraftpakete wie Shein sind immer noch prominent. <strong>Die Herausforderung liegt darin, wie Influencer wie ich zur Transparenz in der Mode beitragen k\u00f6nnen.<\/strong>. Als nachhaltiger Influencer glaube ich daran, mit Marken zusammenzuarbeiten, die <strong>sich wirklich f\u00fcr Nachhaltigkeit einsetzen<\/strong> und die Vermeidung von Partnerschaften aus rein monet\u00e4ren Gr\u00fcnden tr\u00e4gt dazu bei, das Gesamtbild in den sozialen Medien zu beeinflussen. Das ist eine schwierige Frage, aber ich w\u00fcrde sagen, dass es generell notwendig ist <strong>mehr Licht auf das zu werfen, was in der Modeindustrie von Global Players richtig gemacht wird<\/strong>.<br\/>\n<\/div>\n   <\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<!-- row two columns -->\n<div class=\"row rowTwoColumnsWide spacing\">\n    <div class=\"col articleText\">\n        <div ><br\/><strong>Erz\u00e4hlen Sie uns mehr \u00fcber den kreativen Prozess hinter Ihrer Closed Loop Collection und wie Ihr Besuch in den Fabriken diesen beeinflusst hat?<\/strong><br\/>\n<br\/>Andrew: Ich wollte <strong>den RE:FIBRE-Prozess verk\u00f6rpern<\/strong> in meinen Entw\u00fcrfen, wobei der Patchwork-Stil der Hosen Verschnitt und defekte Kleidungsst\u00fccke symbolisiert. Die Shorts sind inspiriert von <strong>baggy vintage basketball warm-ups\u2019<\/strong> Silhouette, um sich an PUMAs sportliche Wurzeln anzulehnen. Urspr\u00fcnglich wollte ich eine Abrisshose tragen, entschied mich dann aber f\u00fcr eine <strong>Umgestaltung des Rei\u00dfverschlusses, um den RE:FIBRE-Prozess widerzuspiegeln<\/strong> das Altes in Neues verwandelt. Die Patchwork-Elemente und die \u00fcbereinanderliegenden Stoffstreifen imitieren das Zusammenweben von Garn und kn\u00fcpfen an den Aspekt der Nachhaltigkeit an. Meine Marke lehnt sich an <strong>Farbpalette rot, gr\u00fcn, blau<\/strong> und die M\u00f6glichkeiten, die diese Farben bieten, um neue Farbt\u00f6ne zu schaffen.  Wir haben die <strong>orange<\/strong> Farbe zur Angleichung an <strong>PUMAs Thread the Loop-Kampagne<\/strong> und wir haben auch das ikonische Bild des Auges integriert, das sich auf die <strong>Linford Christie's PUMA Kontaktlinsen<\/strong> und die <strong>FOREVER.BETTER. logo.<\/strong><br\/>\n<br\/><strong>Sie haben also f\u00fcr Ihre Entw\u00fcrfe sowohl recycelte Stoffe als auch Restst\u00fccke aus Ihren Secondhand-Klamotten verwendet. Was waren die Herausforderungen bei der Verwendung von Restst\u00fccken und RE:FIBRE-Stoffen in deinen Designs? <\/strong><br\/>\n<br\/>Andrew: Ich arbeite normalerweise nicht mit Polyester, also <strong>Die Arbeit mit d\u00fcnnem, dehnbarem Material war eine Abkehr von meinen \u00fcblichen schweren, nicht dehnbaren Stoffen wie Denim und Quilts.<\/strong> Ich hatte einige anf\u00e4ngliche Herausforderungen - <strong>Optimieren der Maschineneinstellungen, Einstellen der Fadenspannung<\/strong>, Aber nach ein paar Versuchen und der Anfertigung einer Testhose hatte ich den Dreh raus. <strong>Anpassung an ein anderes Material<\/strong> die ich nicht wirklich gewohnt bin, war f\u00fcr mich die gr\u00f6\u00dfte Herausforderung bei diesem Projekt.<br\/>\n<\/div>\n    <\/div>\n    <div class=\"col articleText\">\n        <div ><br\/><strong>Welche Technik verwenden Sie am liebsten f\u00fcr Ihre Upcycling-Produkte?<\/strong><br\/>\n<br\/>Andreas:\u00a0<strong>Patchwork<\/strong> hat f\u00fcr mich einen ganz besonderen Stellenwert, <strong>das geht auf meine Wurzeln zur\u00fcck, als ich anfing<\/strong>. Es gibt einfach so viel zu flicken,<strong> es bietet verschiedene Stile<\/strong> von rauen Schnitten, wie hier, bis hin zu sauberen Patchworkarbeiten. Das ist ein dynamisches und bedeutungsvolles Element in meiner Arbeit und passt zu meiner Marke, denn <strong>Patchwork bietet unendlich viele kreative M\u00f6glichkeiten<\/strong>, Ob es nun Herzaufn\u00e4her sind, wie die auf der Hose meiner Freundin, oder andere einzigartige Designs.<br\/>\n<br\/><strong><em>S<\/em><\/strong><strong>o k\u00f6nnen Sie uns mehr \u00fcber Ihre Marke Vivid Visions erz\u00e4hlen. Wie, wann und warum ist sie entstanden?<\/strong><br\/>\n<br\/>Andrew: Ich habe 2017 mit <strong>\u201cBedrohung der Freude\u201d.\u201d<\/strong> eine Streetwear-Marke, aber es fehlte ihr an Konsistenz und sie geriet ein wenig ins Hintertreffen. 2019 habe ich mich ganz dem Upcycling verschrieben und verkaufe meine Designs unter demselben Namen. Ich erkannte, dass <strong>der Name nicht zu meiner Vision passte, habe ich mich 2021 in Vivid Visions umbenannt,<\/strong> zun\u00e4chst ohne definierte Markenidentit\u00e4t. Since I was already into thrifting, \\u0026lt;strong\\u0026gt;upcycling seemed like a natural step\\u0026lt;\/strong\\u0026gt; and it\\u0026rsquo;s easier to get into, because you don\\u0026rsquo;t need to fully construct garments. You can just take jeans, open them up and like put patches on them and sew them together.\\u0026lt;br\/\\u0026gt;\\n\\u0026lt;br\/\\u0026gt;\\u0026lt;strong\\u0026gt;How did you get into sewing?\\u0026lt;\/strong\\u0026gt;\\u0026lt;br\/\\u0026gt;\\n\\u0026lt;br\/\\u0026gt;Adrew:\\u0026lt;strong\\u0026gt; I got into sewing through social media\\u0026lt;\/strong\\u0026gt;, following accounts like Imran Potato who really inspired me. What caught my eye initially were their bootleg designer pieces\\u0026mdash;baby dolls with Gucci prints and pants with unique strips. In the last seven months, I\\u0026rsquo;ve been on a health kick with my girlfriend Paige. A big part of my career is content so when I get back \\u0026lt;strong\\u0026gt;I dive into content creation\\u0026lt;\/strong\\u0026gt; and editing videos. If I don\\u0026rsquo;t have any specific projects to work on, \\u0026lt;strong\\u0026gt;I sew quilt hoodies for my brand VIVID VISIONS\\u0026lt;\/strong\\u0026gt;. These are my main product so I can whip those up really fast just because I\\u0026rsquo;ve made probably thousands at this point. I\\u0026rsquo;m constantly \\u0026lt;strong\\u0026gt;brainstorming and plotting\\u0026lt;\/strong\\u0026gt; my brand\\u0026rsquo;s next move and working on\\u0026lt;strong\\u0026gt; building a strong brand identity\\u0026lt;\/strong\\u0026gt;. Social media is crucial for reaching the youth, but attention spans are very short. So, understanding the need to \\u0026lt;strong\\u0026gt;make sustainability cool and engaging\\u0026lt;\/strong\\u0026gt;, and avoiding dull and drawn-out content is the way to go. I\\u0026rsquo;m obviously biased but I think a great example of this is the Re:HACKS series I worked on with PUMA. Social content series like that or the PUMA RE:GEN reports podcast make a huge amount of information way more digestible. I was originally planning rip-off pants, but opted for a \\u0026lt;strong\\u0026gt;zipper transformation to reflect the RE:FIBRE process\\u0026lt;\/strong\\u0026gt; that transforms old into new. The elements of the patchwork and the layered strips of fabric mimic the yarn being woven together and tying back to the sustainability aspect. Since I was already into thrifting, \\u0026lt;strong\\u0026gt;upcycling seemed like a natural step\\u0026lt;\/strong\\u0026gt; and it\\u0026rsquo;s easier to get into, because you don\\u0026rsquo;t need to fully construct garments. You can just take jeans, open them up and like put patches on them and sew them together.\\u0026lt;br\/\\u0026gt;\\n\\u0026lt;br\/\\u0026gt;\\u0026lt;strong\\u0026gt;How did you get into sewing?\\u0026lt;\/strong\\u0026gt;\\u0026lt;br\/\\u0026gt;\\n\\u0026lt;br\/\\u0026gt;Adrew:\\u0026lt;strong\\u0026gt; I got into sewing through social media\\u0026lt;\/strong\\u0026gt;, following accounts like Imran Potato who really inspired me. What caught my eye initially were their bootleg designer pieces\\u0026mdash;baby dolls with Gucci prints and pants with unique strips. So, I was like, \\u0026lt;strong\\u0026gt;that\\u0026rsquo;s really cool I want to try it out myself.\\u0026lt;\/strong\\u0026gt; I played around with it a bit, but it wasn\\u0026rsquo;t until I was 19 that I started upcycling consistently.\\u0026lt;br\/\\u0026gt;\\n\\u0026lt;br\/\\u0026gt;\\n\\u0026lt;br\/\\u0026gt;\",\"contentRight\":\"\\u0026lt;br\/\\u0026gt;\\u0026lt;strong\\u0026gt;What does a typical day look like for you?\\u0026lt;\/strong\\u0026gt;\\u0026lt;br\/\\u0026gt;\\n\\u0026lt;br\/\\u0026gt;Andrew: I usually wake up around eight, \\u0026lt;strong\\u0026gt;check emails\\u0026lt;\/strong\\u0026gt; \\u0026ndash; many from you guys these days \ud83d\ude09 and \\u0026lt;strong\\u0026gt;tidy up my workspace\\u0026lt;\/strong\\u0026gt; before \\u0026lt;strong\\u0026gt;hitting the gym\\u0026lt;\/strong\\u0026gt;. In the last seven months, I\\u0026rsquo;ve been on a health kick with my girlfriend Paige. A big part of my career is content so when I get back \\u0026lt;strong\\u0026gt;I dive into content creation\\u0026lt;\/strong\\u0026gt; and editing videos. If I don\\u0026rsquo;t have any specific projects to work on, \\u0026lt;strong\\u0026gt;I sew quilt hoodies for my brand VIVID VISIONS\\u0026lt;\/strong\\u0026gt;. These are my main product so I can whip those up really fast just because I\\u0026rsquo;ve made probably thousands at this point. I\\u0026rsquo;m constantly \\u0026lt;strong\\u0026gt;brainstorming and plotting\\u0026lt;\/strong\\u0026gt; my brand\\u0026rsquo;s next move and working on\\u0026lt;strong\\u0026gt; building a strong brand identity\\u0026lt;\/strong\\u0026gt;. Social media is crucial for reaching the youth, but attention spans are very short. I\\u0026rsquo;m obviously biased but I think a great example of this is the Re:HACKS series I worked on with PUMA. Social content series like that or the PUMA RE:GEN reports podcast make a huge amount of information way more digestible. I was originally planning rip-off pants, but opted for a \\u0026lt;strong\\u0026gt;zipper transformation to reflect the RE:FIBRE process\\u0026lt;\/strong\\u0026gt; that transforms old into new. The elements of the patchwork and the layered strips of fabric mimic the yarn being woven together and tying back to the sustainability aspect.
