In einem vielbeachteten Rennen - das als \u2018bestes Rennen in der Geschichte der Leichtathletik\u2019 bezeichnet wurde - soll der 25-j\u00e4hrige Norweger seinen eigenen Weltrekord nicht gebrochen, sondern zerst\u00f6rt haben. Zwischen Edwin Moses' Weltrekord von 47,45s aus dem Jahr 1977 und Karstens Weltrekord von 46,70s aus dem Juli 2021 hatte sich der Rekord \u00fcber 400m H\u00fcrden um 75 Hundertstelsekunden verbessert. Dann, in nur einem Rennen in Tokio, verbesserte Warholm den Weltrekord um 76 Hundertstel - eine Leistung, die es seit 44 Jahren nicht mehr gab. Dar\u00fcber hinaus war die heilige 47-Sekunden-Marke im 400-m-H\u00fcrdenlauf vor dem olympischen Finale in Tokio nur sechsmal durchbrochen worden. In diesem einen Rennen liefen drei H\u00fcrdenl\u00e4ufer unter 47 Sekunden, wobei der Silbermedaillengewinner Rai Benjamin den alten Weltrekord von Karsten brach und 46,17 Sekunden lief. Bei den Olympischen Spielen in Rio 2016 lief der Goldmedaillengewinner Kerron Clement 47,73 Sekunden und bei den Weltmeisterschaften 2019 in Doha gewann Karsten in 47,42 Sekunden. Mit diesen Zeiten h\u00e4tte ein H\u00fcrdenl\u00e4ufer im Finale von Tokio nur den sechsten Platz belegt.<br\/>\n<br\/>26-j\u00e4hrige kanadische Sprinterin <strong>Andr\u00e9 de Grasse<\/strong> gewann Gold \u00fcber 200m in 19,62s und holte Bronze im 100m-Lauf in 9,89 Sekunden. Mit seiner Erfolgsbilanz \u00fcber 100m und 4x100m bei den Weltmeisterschaften 2015, \u00fcber 100m, 200m und 4x100m bei den Olympischen Spielen 2016, \u00fcber 100m und 200m bei den Weltmeisterschaften 2019 und \u00fcber 100m, 200m und 4x100m bei den Olympischen Spielen in Tokio ist Andr\u00e9 der konstanteste Sprinter der Welt.<br\/>\n<br\/>27-j\u00e4hriger Amerikaner <strong>Molly Seidel<\/strong> wurde die dritte Amerikanerin, die bei Olympischen Spielen eine Medaille im Marathon gewann, als sie mit einer Zeit von 2:27:46 ins Ziel kam, nachdem sie vor ihrer Teilnahme an den Olympischen Spielen in Tokio nur zwei Marathons gelaufen war.<br\/>\n<br\/>Zum ersten Mal in der Leichtathletik in den letzten 113 Jahren hat ein PUMA-Athlet <strong>Gianmarco Tamberi <\/strong>und Mutaz Essa Barshim beschlossen, sich die Goldmedaille im Hochsprung der M\u00e4nner zu teilen, ein wahres Symbol des Sportsgeistes.<br\/>\n<br\/>Stabhochspringer <strong>Mondo Duplantis<\/strong> holte seinen ersten olympischen Titel, als er 6,02 m \u00fcbersprang und damit Gold gewann, aber auch 6,19 m \u00fcbersprang, einen Zentimeter h\u00f6her als seine bisherige Bestleistung von 6,18 m, dem aktuellen Weltrekord.<br\/>\n<br\/>Jamaika's <strong>Hansle Pergament<\/strong> \u00fcberraschte die Welt in einem unglaublich engen 110-m-H\u00fcrdenfinale, als er den unbestrittenen Favoriten Grant Holloway schlug, der seit August letzten Jahres kein H\u00fcrdenrennen mehr verloren hatte. Bei den Olympischen Spielen in den USA verpasste Holloway den Weltrekord \u00fcber 110 m nur um eine Hundertstelsekunde, aber in Tokio raste Hansle an ihm vorbei und gewann Gold in 13,04 s - als \u201ceiner der Schocks der Spiele\u201d bezeichnet.<br\/>\n<br\/>Mit 17,98 m sprang der portugiesische PUMA-Athlet und Olympia-Deb\u00fctant <strong>Pedro Pichardo<\/strong> gewann Gold im Dreisprung, stellte einen neuen Rekord f\u00fcr Portugal auf und gewann die erste Goldmedaille f\u00fcr sein Land seit 2008 und die f\u00fcnfte \u00fcberhaupt.<br\/>\n<br\/>Die 100m-Sprinterinnen des von PUMA gesponserten <strong>Olympischer Verband Jamaika <\/strong>holten Gold (Elaine Thompson-Herah), Silber (Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce) und Bronze (Shericka Jackson) und belegten damit 10 der 12 Podestpl\u00e4tze seit den Olympischen Spielen 2008 in Peking.<br\/>\n<\/div>\n   <\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<!-- row text single -->\n<div class=\"gradientnone\">\n<div class=\"row rowSingleColumnWide spacing\">\n    <div class=\"col articleText\">\n        <div class=\"textStyle_quote\" ><p>Es geht um die Athleten, ihr physisches und mentales Training und ihre F\u00e4higkeit, im entscheidenden Moment ihr Bestes zu geben. In this one race, three hurdlers ran under 47 seconds, with the silver medalist Rai Benjamin breaking Karsten\u2019s old world record, running 46.17s. At the Rio Olympics in 2016, gold medalist Kerron Clement ran 47.73s and in the 2019 Doha World Championships, Karsten won in 47.42s. With these times, a hurdler would only have taken the sixth place in the Tokyo final.\\u0026lt;br\/\\u0026gt;\\n\\u0026lt;br\/\\u0026gt;26-year-old Canadian sprinter \\u0026lt;strong\\u0026gt;Andr\u00e9 de Grasse\\u0026lt;\/strong\\u0026gt; raced to Gold over 200m in 19.62s and claimed Bronze in the 100m race in 9.89 seconds. In this one race, three hurdlers ran under 47 seconds, with the silver medalist Rai Benjamin breaking Karsten\u2019s old world record, running 46.17s. At the Rio Olympics in 2016, gold medalist Kerron Clement ran 47.73s and in the 2019 Doha World Championships, Karsten won in 47.42s.
