Wann haben Sie gemerkt, dass der Marathon am besten zu Ihnen als Athletin passt - und was braucht man, um erfolgreich zu sein: k\u00f6rperliche Vorbereitung oder mentale St\u00e4rke?\u00a0<\/span>Ich glaube, ich mag die Marathondistanz, weil man viel mit seiner Einstellung arbeiten muss. Ich genie\u00dfe es, w\u00e4hrend des gesamten Rennens mit mir selbst reden zu k\u00f6nnen und mich nicht nur auf die k\u00f6rperliche, sondern auch auf die mentale Seite zu konzentrieren.<br><br>Ich denke, Sie brauchen beides. Die Distanz erfordert ein hohes Ma\u00df an Trainingskilometern, und man kann dieses Volumen nicht ohne ein gewisses Verletzungsrisiko aufbauen. Aber im Rennen selbst braucht man mentale St\u00e4rke, um die Anstrengung \u00fcber die volle Distanz durchzuhalten. Manchmal ist man zwar k\u00f6rperlich bereit f\u00fcr einen Halbmarathon, aber mental nicht f\u00fcr einen ganzen Marathon. Deshalb ist die mentale St\u00e4rke so wichtig f\u00fcr den Marathon.<\/div>\n   <\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<!-- row text single -->\n<div class=\"gradientnone\">\n<div class=\"row rowSingleColumnNarrow spacing\">\n    <div class=\"col articleText\">\n        <div class=\"textStyle_quote\" >Im Rennen selbst brauchen Sie mentale St\u00e4rke, um Ihre Anstrengungen \u00fcber die gesamte Distanz aufrechtzuerhalten. Man braucht eine hohe w\u00f6chentliche Laufleistung, und der lange Lauf ist sehr wichtig. Gleichzeitig muss man einmal pro Woche auf die Bahn gehen, um an der Schnelligkeit zu arbeiten, denn die Schnelligkeit ist auch f\u00fcr die Marathondistanz wichtig. Diese Kombination aus langen L\u00e4ufen und Tempotraining ist f\u00fcr mich die Grundlage eines guten Marathons.\u00a0<br><br>Wenn es in einem Rennen darum geht, eine Qualifikationszeit zu erreichen, gehe ich nicht allzu viele Risiken ein, denn ich m\u00f6chte das Rennen beenden und eine gute Zeit laufen. Wenn ich aber frei laufen kann, gehe ich mehr Risiken ein, starte schneller und versuche, ein besseres Tempo zu halten - auch wenn es gegen Ende schwieriger wird. Es ist einfach eine andere Herangehensweise.\u00a0<\/div>\n   <\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<!-- row text single -->\n<div class=\"gradientnone\">\n<div class=\"row rowSingleColumnWide spacing\">\n    <div class=\"col articleText\">\n        <div class=\"textStyle_default\" ><span class=\"interviewq\">Beim Berliner Halbmarathon haben Sie eine neue pers\u00f6nliche Bestleistung aufgestellt und den belgischen Landesrekord gebrochen. Was kam an diesem Tag f\u00fcr Sie zusammen - und wie gehen Sie mental mit schwierigen Momenten w\u00e4hrend eines Rennens um?\u00a0<\/span>Es war eine Mischung aus verschiedenen Dingen. Ich hatte eine gute Vorbereitung, ich war in einem Trainingslager in den USA, und ich hatte bereits starke Zeiten \u00fcber 10 km und im Marathon, aber noch nicht im Halbmarathon. Ich wollte also auch auf dieser Distanz den n\u00e4chsten Schritt machen und ein \u00e4hnliches Leistungsniveau erreichen.<br><br>F\u00fcr mich ist es sehr wichtig, mich mental daran zu erinnern, dass ich daf\u00fcr trainiert habe und dass ich bereit bin. Wenn ich an der Startlinie stehe, f\u00fchle ich mich bereit - und wenn ich mich nicht bereit f\u00fchle, starte ich nicht. Was macht dieses Umfeld so besonders f\u00fcr Sie?\u00a0<\/span>Ich genie\u00dfe es sehr, Teil des PUMA Elite Teams in North Carolina zu sein, weil es sehr professionell ist. Ich sp\u00fcre weniger M\u00fcdigkeit in meinen Beinen und sie geben mir eine gute Energier\u00fcckgabe.<br>F\u00fcr mich sind Rennschuhe und Trainingsschuhe nicht dasselbe. Wenn ich meine Rennschuhe anziehe, habe ich das Gef\u00fchl, dass ich zus\u00e4tzlichen Halt habe. Im Training ziehe ich es vor, h\u00e4rter zu arbeiten und mich mehr anzustrengen, aber im Rennen geben mir die Schuhe diese zus\u00e4tzliche Unterst\u00fctzung.<br><br>F\u00fcr Rennen bevorzuge ich den FAST-R3 Trainer. F\u00fcr Training und Workouts mag ich die Deviate-Serie, weil sie mehr Stabilit\u00e4t bietet. Man muss mehr Energie aufwenden, und das ist gut f\u00fcr das Training. Die Carbonplatte ist eine gro\u00dfe Hilfe f\u00fcr die Marathondistanz. Ich glaube, es ist heute einfacher, schnell zu laufen als fr\u00fcher, weil es mehr Technologie gibt.<br><br>Die Zusammenarbeit mit PUMA ist f\u00fcr mich sehr wichtig. Ich mag den Austausch, weil sie fragen, wie sich die Schuhe anf\u00fchlen und was f\u00fcr die n\u00e4chste Generation verbessert werden kann. Als Vorbereitung darauf m\u00f6chte ich bei den Europameisterschaften auf der Bahn die 10.000 Meter laufen.<br><br>Und vielleicht am Ende des Jahres einen weiteren Marathon - zum Beispiel in Chicago oder New York. But when I can run freely, I take more risks, start faster and try to hold a better pace \\u0026ndash; even if it becomes more difficult towards the end.
